I've tried Omni III's and IV's with a 788 on top...its neat. Gotta take your time lining up your shots.

Mantiseseses with a Revenant is BRAP'y and fun, but its a total spray and pray situation.

Suckerpunches, 227's, and a 788 is neat too, but I find the 227's overheat so easily even when using pop shots. Maybe because in the back of my mind I'm thinking about how the Suckerpunches are only taking down shields, so I fire too quickly.

Anyone try some S3 Tarantulas? If so what did you pair them with?

Either way I'm seeing that you have to balance energy and ballistic weaponry.

I ran Pryobursts, NN-13s, and twin Badgers up top. It actually works pretty well. Most of the damage comes from the Scatterguns. Can't really say much for the NN-13s because I'm not entirely sure I actually hit anything with them.

Just flew the buc all night to develop a full opinion on all it's features. Fast, agile, GREAT turning... but it is my opinion that the combined does NOT work on it in the PU. I ran x2 suckers, x2 227s, and 1 788.. theoretically that should decimate a pirate (350r, aurora, gladius) within a few direct hits of all those ordnance. NOT the case tonight. Very aggravating. Shields are also VERY sensitive to being hit. So... in my opinion.. the SH is a better ship and I may even end up melting my buc if it doesn't improve. This is one pokemon that's not worth the hassle imo. Might work great in AC.. but PU is where I live in game. Grrr... sorry having a bad night... just got hit with over $500 of domain name fees I wasn't expecting on the wrong gd account. ... anyway.. I'll give some more loadouts a try and report back my worthless opinions lol.

My favorite loadout so far, is having a combine ballistic cannon on the spine, 2 pyroburst scatter-guns on the wings, and 2 neutron guns on the edge of the wings. So far its my best build and is pretty much a one shot kill if you hit it in the right place. I'll probably try another loadout when we get the gimbaled size 3 on the spine. Soon™

Combine doesnt really work in AC too atm, at least multiplayer. Its a known issue, not a desync but the pip not lining up. According to CIG anyway, there is an invalid response to a report on the issue council
So what would you recommend to use other than the combine?

Guys and gals I can confirm, the 788 pip is broken and/or not existent.

I was in PU and bound the 788 to weapon group 2 and was missing every damn shot. I found some space rocks and fired it straight at the surface and it has a very slow projectile speed. The 227's immediately hit the surface of anything, but the 788 is delayed, so this made me go "yep, that pip is a lie!".

Now what? Eh I'm trying the Revenant, 2x227's, and 2xSuckerpunches for now. I just bind the Revenant to fire group 2 and use it when up close and personal.

Did someone report the 788 bug? It matters if they move the pip or speed up the cannon!

TheNOOBIFIER1337 had a pretty great loadout that I enjoy.
