10000 posts on these great forums. Egad. I don't know whether to be proud or disgusted.
So instead I'll be drunk. Ha.

Gratuitous self promotion? Yeah, probably. But what the hell. I'm slightly drunk and it's a wee bit of a milestone. So yay.

First and foremost I blame thank @CosmicTrader. His CityBoppin' and BarHoppin' and that silly little dancing bird were the glue that sealed the deal for me with TEST.

I know I'm known for gratuitous amounts of posts that offer little in the way of content. Which I feel really adds the poignancy when I do eventually say something of value. Ha.
I do rather like to make people smile and laugh, whether it be with me or at me. Either works.

I never in a million years thought I'd join my first online org at age 36, and actually make meaningful connections with people that I can honestly call friends. It's only been a year and a half, and a good portion of you here are people that I'd go to bat for and drink with in a split second.

To all of you: Thank you for being so amazing.
To those who need not be named, you know who you are, those many of you with whom a connection has been formed: I love y'all. You're what keeps me coming back to share in shenanigans and drunken debauchery.

Multi-Jumbo-Mega-Like to all of you, you beautiful TESTies.

I have over 7,000 in the RSI forums. It's just a little bit every year. Now, if you put $1 in your savings account every time you posted, think of the $10,000 you'd have! That's not even enough to give every TESTie a dollar, ha.

We love you here Owl. That's why you have over 2.7x as many likes compared to your posts.

Haha, if I had the constitution or the wherewithal to deposit a dollar for every post them I probably wouldn't be in TEST. Ha.

Thanks Steve. You're a gem. Cheers to you my friend!

I thought I joined because of your bright wit & charming personality.
I must be more drunk than you. Is that possible?

Probably. You are rather experienced. I recall a rather glorious picture of you in London having a beer.
On the ground.
Haha.

Shucks, you're making me blush. Thank you my friend.

I love Canadians. I got in a fight one time with someone trying to tell me that Norwegians were nicer. I'm like, "Hell no. Do you see Norway sharing a border with the US? I didn't think so. Canada and the US have the largest border between 2 countries."

The US and Canada have this thing called the Peace Arch. It's a giant arch on the border that has some gates. It says, "May these gates never be closed" and then they are welded to the walls so that no one can close them. THAT's how nice Canada is. No other country in the world has anything that sincere with the US. France sent that big statue that we didn't even erect for like 84 years or something. Meanwhile the US welds a gate permanently open to Canada showing that they are best buds for life. That's like the exact opposite for the US and Mexico.

What does the border between Canada and the US look like?

It's just a gap in the trees. There are many European countries that have borders that are this plain and simple, but not with the US. In fact most of Europe likes having a large ocean between them and the US. But Canada is so nice, we just have this 20' gap. (6 meters)

Canada is like the USA's little brother that's always there to help... only Canada is bigger, younger, nicer, and better looking.

Oh my Fuck. I didn't even know Weird Al had made this rendition. Haha.

It takes a special kind of relationship to have a the longest undefended border in the world. And those peace arches are something. The symbolism is definite.

Once again I'm cracking up reading your post. You have an eloquence and humour that just tickles me pink. Haha.

Thanks Tank.

I concur. There aren't many countries I would consider moving to, but Canada definitely tops the list. @Blind Owl and @CrudeSasquatch are some of my favorite TESTies and it is always a blast when they are around... and I am pretty sure it is *because* they are Canadian. I'm glad to know I will always have a place in @Blind Owl's basement if President Cheeto goes off the rails. --- I just wish they weren't three time zones away now :-(

Good news: I have a basement big enough for you. Bad news: it flooded with poo water last week. Silver lining: we're going to have a brand new basement soon!

We do try to represent the Great White North to the best of our beer addled ability. :)

3 time zones is nothing my friend. We'll make it work if we need to.
