No shame my friend no shame at all. It's pink for fucks sake. PINK. There's no shame in chasing the pink.

Pink DF you dirty bastards. Sheesh.
@Stevetank I have already done the 10 accounts for the gladius, now trying google ads for the dragonfly.

I'll help crew an idris or a Jav or provide escort with one of my ships, but I doubt I will be able to contribute to the Jav count.

Presuming you bought 10 packages (has to be a game package) WITH NEW CASH, on ten different accounts, kept them for one month (to ensure that jfeezy gets the referrals), then gifted each ship to one account, you could then melt them all or all but one, and upgrade the remaining one.

Good luck finding LTI game packages though. You end up having to buy one generic game package on the final account, and then buy an LTI ship to upgrade to your prowler.
I'm still lost. Isn't the point of doing this, that you get LTI on a starter ship and can then apply that to other ships? In other words, if I buy a $40 starter game package on each of 10 accounts, and gift the ships all to one account, then melt them all, I have $400 purchase ability on that account, and 10 LTI packages I can apply to various in-game acquisitions?

Actually I am planning to spend more than $400, so how I spend it is pretty important. If I can manage it, I want to start with a Ghost Hornet with Tracker package, a Sentinel and a Prowler which will be a Hoplite to start. So about $850. I would hate to get less than the three ships I want plus LTI on them. The hard thing is for that kind of cash, I can buy a Polaris, so I am extremely tempted. Ever since it was delivered the Polaris seems the most bang for your buck in the game, part from the big cap ships which are so hard to crew.

No, these gents here are all talking about the referral contest that's ongoing. They are talking about simply farming referrals for said contest. Hence the multiple accounts and packages.

For you, you don't need to do any of that crap. Buy one game package, upgrade it how you like. Or don't, it doesn't matter, so long as you have that initial game package. I recommend an Aurora game package with big Sq 42 and Star Citizen.

After that, buy as many LTI ships on concept sale as you want total ships. IE, right now you could buy a couple LTI Banu Defenders for 185 each. You could upgrade one to a sentinel (when it's on sale next) and one to a prowler (when it's on sale next). Because the defender is worth more than both the tracker and the ghost, you'd have to wait for a cheaper concept sale to get LTI on those ships, OR buy some LTI tokens off of someone who has them in buyback (your friendly neighbourhood Owl has some - at cost + PayPal fees of course).

It sounds complicated, but it's really not once you get the swing of things. If you want a more insight breakdown of how the system works, @AstroSam made a great tutorial video. I'll find the link.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be more than happy to help. :)
Cheers.

Not really a fan of the ref program... all the people I brought to the game used some youtubers ref code rather than mine and I don't wanna spam my code everywhere, since I hate it when others do it. Then again... I'm a sucker for LTI and afaik ref-ships have 6 months insurance... so I guess I can just as well earn the stuff.

As for "how many Javelins we have" I kinda don't think it matters... not long after the launch (well, or even before the launch if we have that many already) we'd have as much Javelins available as we could crew anyway.

100-People Org would be able to obtain 1-2 Javelins within a reasonable timeframe, otherwise it would be a rather weird gamedesign, so we could really just earn them whenever we need additional ones.
