GAMESCOM Day 2 Today will be different in that I will be editing THIS post throughout the stream. I will try to separate things into different areas. This will be a running commentary of what I see in the stream, not a summation.
They are using the latest build, pulled down either today or yesterday. The build yesterday was also a late build. This is not a special build for Gamescom.
You can actually see the displays changing as people change them on a ship. It doesn't matter if you are sitting in the seat that the displays are for are not, they are shown to everyone.
The particle effects should be back in. You should be able to see them early on in the stream if you are watching on a delayed feed...about 18 minutes in. I have to admit, they look really good. They saw it at atmospheric exit and entry.
They are doing a re-entry and it looks about the same at re-entry as in exit.
Individual ship lighting has been enabled in this build. The flashlight effects are pretty neat.
You don't need to turn on the controls individually. You can press something like F5 to turn everything on, but you do have the option of individual controls.
You can shoot into an armistice zone, and hit people with vehicles in armistice zones.
It looks like the Ursa and the Prospector will be on sale today.
There looks to be a little bit of a issue with inclines and the rovers and the ability to get into seats.
Right now, there is no "max draw distance"
In you go into an outpost, once you are inside a pressurized areas, you can recover your Oxygen. This means if you are stranded, you will need to find shelter in order to extend your survival time, or if you want to not have to go back to your ship all the time.
There are Ursa and Prospector Videos .
Ship shapes matter in atmosphere.. but, there is some serious issue with collisions and tumbling in atmosphere in my mind.
Shoutout to test when they saw an aurora crash in the demo around 42 minutes in.
Running really reduces your oxygen in your suit. You might only have several minutes while running
Ship safeties can be turned on and off.
The nox is very fragile.
There are some terrain issues? I saw a Nox get flung up into the air. Not sure if it was due to combat, or some code issue.
Here are the Prospector and Ursa promotions

https://robertsspaceindustries.com/promotions/2017gamescomrover
Coupon code is GAMESCOM2017 It also has the Nox and Cutlass.
The Prospector is still 140 right now, but no LTI, just 6 months
The Ursa has everything...or it might be that once you unlock one of the ships, it stays unlocked in the other promotions
There is a game package available with the Prospector
During the stream, one of the machines was needed, so they took one of the streaming machines. Myre continues to demonstrate the power mechanics in the Ursa
It seems that there is a problem where if you run into the ground with your ship, the ship is not damaged/destroyed.
During a demo of the prospector, they had someone in the back and someone in the pilot seat. When the pilot turned the power on, the lights on the ship turned on.
Shooting the rail gun inside the ship has no effect on the ship.
As explained in a previous ATV, the particle effects of leaving atmosphere/entering atmosphere flow around the ship shields.
Definately a problem with collisions between planets and ships. 1h 42 minutes or so, they tried to crash a prospector into the moon, and it was just a bump, no damage was done to the prospector.
This brings us to the two hours mark, intermission and the interview with Erin Roberts. Unfortunately, I will not be able to monitor the rest of the stream due to work issues. I am sure there are others who will post a summary of the interview and last hour of game streaming. Also, I will not be able to watch the morning stream tomorrow due to the time change. I may be able to sum up the Chris Roberts big presentation, but not completely sure.
