Thanks, so... my inspiration came from my kids. When they were little they use to eat in a high chair. I basically just took that idea and expanded on it.
I used nearly everything I had around the house already with the exception of the table and MDF Cougars.
The wood cost ~28.00 at Lowes - in the nice wood project area. Lodgepole Pine.
I bought the Cougars on amazon - 2 pc set for about 78.00
1. Beer belly modification came first - measured the lawn chair arm rests inside and out then cut the opening.
2. Put the joystick, throttle, cougars, and keyboard on it and traced around them with a pencil
3. Placed the table on the lawn chair and traced outside the arm rests to put wood blocks to lock it in so it does not move
4. Strategically drilled holes around the peripherals and secured them with wire.
5. Added the arm rest blocks
6. Added a 7 port usb 2.0 hub
That's about it. Nothing too fancy.
