I've always had an interest in some flavor of bomber simply for the support aspect, yet like to strike a balance of survivability.

I have only 1 fighter in my line up, the good ol' Buc. Outside of that I have a fleet of industry: BMM, Reclaimer, Cat, Cutlass Black, 2 Dragonflies, 2 Noxes, Tumbler Cyclone.

The 3 bombers that I'm interested are the Gladiator, Harbinger, and Retaliator.

The Gladiator and Harbinger are defiantly more solo focused, which I like, but I feel you get more of your money's worth with the Tali as it can fill a few roles with the modules.

Honestly I like the tankiness of the Harbinger, but everyone hates on all the Vanguards lately. The Gladiator is probably the most bang for your buck on the lighter side of the 3.

I'd use one of my bikes as an LTI token.

Thoughts?

Any particular reason you aren't interested in the Eclipse?

Its a single purpose, single mission stealth bomber that you can use once per play period. I want something that can be supportive in flight for an extended period of time. A weird way of saying "balance" I suppose.
Yes, it is limited in what it can do for a group in most fights, but its 3 size 9 torpedoes can potentially cripple a large or a capital ship in major conflicts due to its stealth capabilities to get into position to possibly take out the Main Thrusters or other key areas. While that isn't the most versatile role to fill, it can be critical in fights like that. In the end, it is which ships that you enjoy flying or operating that you should add to your fleet. Either way, I'm sure that I'm not alone in looking forward to joining you in game.

I kinda like the idea of a retaliator with a cargo and living area module in it for higher risk living. Yeah, that's kinda stupid, I know. But why do I need to make sense?
If it can carry a buggy or rover, and some stasis pods, I was actually considering getting one to be my bigger bounty hunter ship. That way I can have a living module to entertain clients, carry a vehicle that can bring a bounty back to the ship, and use as a drop ship or PT boat, or combination, for org missions.

Perhaps I'm a bit loopy atm, but to me, the Retaliator with living modules reminds me of somebody stretching a RV, giving it styling cues from a stretched F-117 Nighthawk & adding enough turret spaces for everybody who gets a bed that isn't currently piloting. So that during those long field trips, people could play I Spy with dual weapons to identify the caller's target of things being passed by. Cheers! :beers:

The reason I really want to know how many blades a Medium Computer can install. The Tali can have 2 Medium Computers and a blade can automate a turret.
