It looks like all of you have at least a couple ships, what are you planning to do with them? What I mean by that is what're you planning on using them for, what upgrades are you planning, are you going to paint it my little pony, etc.

Cutlass Black: Trading/pirating/boarding, totally getting a pink paint job
Mustang: Racing or annoying the crap out of people by doing barrel roles in traffic
Aurora: Upgrade to Gladius

890 Jump - Org meeting booze cruiser, VIP transport, but most likely a cargo ship for my Orion if I don't pull the trigger on a BMM/cat/tali

Reclaimer - well scavenging and maybe a weekend drunk trying to catch other ships with the claw

Herald - Stealing the future Scarlett Johansson nude selfies, and I guess other data stuff

Freelancer MIS will be my start the game ship

Xi'an scout - other than being agile and cool looking, might end up being a hanger queen or melted if new info is not what I like

Future Ship will be the Orion, no doubt about it, I will burn all my ships if I have to, assuming they don't make mining worthless and boring

LTI Aurora: Crashing, or if the 2seater starter is any cool and they let us swap our starters like for the mustang (supposedly) then it might happen, but I have a feeling it will stay as my test missile.

LTI Starfarer: Gonna devote this thing to keeping test in ultra cheap fuel. Those Javs ain't gonna run on farts unfortunately. I think that with a bit of organisation when the PU alpha is out and we know the mechanics for fuels, we can get a fuel supply empire up and running that turns a profit for the org and keeps all members flying on the cheap.

I think I'll be going the route with a Freelancer being my start the game ship, but I have a Super Hornet and may end up going with the DUR model so I can explore with that and dogfight (I see the Freelancer MIS as more of a small corvette compared to the fighters).

Do you plan on mostly combat?

Avenger: My main personal ship for when I want to play solo. Seems like it should be able to run small cargo missions as well as combat/bounty hunting missions to make some money. Will probably spend a good portion of my early money outfitting it as well as possible.

LTI M50: Probably won't stay an M50, though I'm still not sure what I'll change it into. I've been considering a Super Hornet, but the Aegis Bulldog also sounds pretty awesome, I may look at trying to upgrade to that if/when it becomes available.

LTI Redeemer: Fairly self explanatory, will hop in this ship for larger scale combat/escort operations when I've got a few friends around to man the turrets.

Mustang Omega: Probably won't keep this either, though I'm unsure if I'll try to CCU it into something, or just use it as a gift/giveaway.

I still feel like I need to pick up something more cargo-focused, but I may just wind up working as a crewman on other people's big cargo ships.

I am not really sure at this point, I am leading more towards support roles with mining/salvage type game play with combat mixed in for org events. If you need a guy to man turrets or reload the beer fridge, I am your guy !

The Cutlass Blue seemed like a versitle ship. I did bounty hunting in SWG so I figured I'd give it a try on SC as well. If I don't like it I can always take the holding cells out and do cargo runs or some light salvaging.
Piracy dosn't really appeal to me all that much. I like the fact it comes with a tractor beam and stronger shields than the other Cutlass variants. It's something I may be able to mine from also come to think of it.
All around a very versital ship and I look forward to flying her! Only thing is at this time no jump drive on the cutlass right? I thought I had read they would be added later. Are there bunks in the Cutlass Blue? Appart from the holding cells lol.

The freelancer is nowhere near large enough to be considered a corvette, in either tonnage or volume. Closest analogue would be be the missile boat; a cutter or smaller sized warship designed to, well, fire missiles.

I'm planning on using my retaliator for armored cargo runs to buy back my redeemer and a cutlass or other small hauler, which will be my er'ryday ship.

The whole cutlass line has a jump drive.

My fleet is my pride and joy. Also my shame.

RSI Constellation Phoenix - I plan to attend any org meetings in this one so I can stay in my hot tub. Also, any VIP missions I decide to undertake.

Origin 325a - This one was intended to be my agility-based dogfighter. Depending on how the Gladius does, it might get rolled into another role, or melted for a Bulldog when that one is released.

Origin M50 - I love the way this ship looks, and I love how it flies like a cockroach on crack.

RSI Aurora LX - Ramming.

MISC Freelancer DUR - This is my explorer, and probably going to be one of my go-to ships for small odd-jobs.

Aegis Avenger - This is going to be my bounty-hunting ship, and possibly a dogfighter as well, if it maneuvers well enough.

Aegis Reclaimer - For scraping up all the mangled Aurora hulls around major TEST battle sites.

Drake Herald - For some of the more sneaky operations, and for conducting psyops on our enemies. *readies playlist of catchy but shameful pop songs*

Aegis Gladius - Depending on performance, likely to supersede my 325a as my go-to dog fighter.

Banu Merchantman - For large scale cargo operations. You can't have Starfarer-sized loads of beer without corresponding loads of bar food.

Origin 350r - Gotta go fast!

Aegis Retaliator - When TEST decides to start conducting operations that may call for a anti-cap component, I will be ready. Til then, I'm hoping "modular" means "have multiple modules that can be switched out for different roles on a moment's notice."

So far I'm going for 3 things: Exploration, combat, and cargo.

Constellation for cargo and other odd jobs, Redeemer for various combat roles, and Carrack to boldly go.

Just melted my Freelancer MIS so I'll have enough store credit for the Carrack.

Super Hornet - Most likely my go-to co-op mission/fighting ship but don't know for sure yet.

315P - The solo explorer when I feel like taking a day off from fleet actions

Constellation Phoenix - When I need to Haul Montoya's drunk ass around I'll do it in style. Goes for RussianJ and others as well.

Khartu-Al - Co-op drunken flying at high speed! Either gonna be for fast fun or fast combat.

Gladius - My solo fighter ship. I also like the look of it.

Reclaimer - Not so much Master Chief as it is making money off dead TEST ships. I do genuinely do enjoy salvaging cool things.

Redeemer - The Beerdeemer. Will be a mobile keg transport and I can dump drunk Testies into a fight on a larger ship in boarding action! I like the design of it.

Herald - Remember Jurassic Park? Must go Faster!

Retaliator - Bought in a moment of weakness it will serve as my flagship when I gather a group of like minded individuals up to go have fun with a capital ship and we play pin the torpedo on the idiot.

Fightin' round the 'verse

More specifically,

Hornet Ghost: Sneaking around and shooting things
M50: Getting from point A to point B fast and shooting things
Retaliator: Shooting really big things with really big missiles
Khartu-Al: Shooting things when my other ships are being repaired
890 JUMP: I'll probably add some shielding to the cargo bays and use it for smuggling.
Herald: Light treason
