Each flake represents a dollar spent towards Star Citizen... Its not snow by the way those are ashes from all the money burned by the community building their fleet.
Looks like I contributed 410 snow flakes this week
$370 on my end. Managed to LTI my Cutlass, get a Carrack for $75, a Prospector, Argo Cargo and a Caterpillar, all LTI minus the Argo lol.

I also would like to thank @SeungRyul not only for the snow, but for the gazillion little things he does on the forums behind the scenes to help us all out. He is truly one of Tests unsung heros (no pun intended).
