as someone whose construction experience dates back to 1971, I can state with authority that you have your work cut out for you
yeah im hiring contractors for some of the legal work and free slave labor from friends. mostly though yeah im on my own. by day 2 this is pretty good problem i have atm is disposal. i need to figure out who takes what. its not as simple as it is in america and if i hire a company to deal with it prices jump 10 times

I'm glad we don't have spiders like that where I live. I just finished the fixer upper I bought in 2014 and boy does it feel good. Do yourself a favor and take lots of before and after pictures. Good luck and congrats!

KILL IT WITH F... wait, it eats roaches? I'll let that thing make it's web in my hair if it keeps roaches away. Don't have them here, but when I spent my exchange year in Japan. Them roaches. =/

Anyhow, apart from someone having ripped away the walls and floor, what's wrong with the house?

I actually ripped all of the floors and walls out haha currently working on breaking a few concrete walls down. Need to throw away all the stuff all over the house for now. hard to work in a huge mess. I'll get some new pics this weekend to toss up. The spiders are now hiding in the house somewhere only to come out at night. as for what am i going to do about them i have a pest control company comming over on saturday to look into it and give me a price then i'm going to let them.....
KILL ALL the THINGS.

On another note there are termites and that is probably my biggest problem with the house i havnt physically seen any alive and they havnt eatten anything that is important so far.(they might all already be dead but i'm going to get the house sprayed anyhow.)

Ah hell, that looks like a full gut! I've been working mine in Phases. Easier on the wallet to flip a couple rooms or tasks every couple of months with my work schedule. Bedrooms, Master Bath, and Kitchen are done so far. Working on second full bath right now and while we wait for the plumber the screen room patio is being started. Once all that is done, we'll finish the main living room and family room then the wood floor for the works. Should be done before Christmas with my schedule but since we're staying in it for the next few years at least the timing isn't the main priority.
