Wohoo!!!!

THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!!!!

Ps. Where do you get these books? They are NOT like the magazines I usually read, I could not see Starship Troopers on that top shelf, and the girl at the newsagents couldn't stop laughing at me when I asked her??

Have you tried a book store? You can also purchase an epub copy on amazon and read it digitally on your phone or tablet or kindle.

I would look for a used copy somewhere, either at a used book store or an online store. You shouldn't have to pay too much for it.

The movie is quite different in tone and plot from the book.
For years I avoided the movie, because I heard from sci-fi friends that it "wasn't that good." Then I found out that it was actually a satire, went and watched it, and loved it.

Paul Verhoeven made a great film that can be enjoyed on a couple levels, just like Robocop...

Another book people should read (if you haven't already) that can be viewed on many levels is "Slaughterhouse 5" by Kurt Vonnegut.

Completely agree with all of this, though I saw the movie when it came out - many times - it’s a great satire just like Robocop as you said.

I am really liking this book. It compares well to In fury born by David Weber

I am at the point they are discussing corporal punishment and they have some interesting ideas. Sadly, the flogging post in my state (Delaware) was removed a few years ago
