Once you get the first sunburn out of the way, the rest is all downhill.
I lived in Scottsdale 25 years. You get used to it. June is pretty brutal though. Remember "It's a Dry Heat"
I'm glad its only two weeks for this software install. But stepping out of the airport was like walking into a pizza oven.
I lived in Arizona for 30 years
once I bought a pickup truck without AC, to save money
in two summers I spent more on Big Gulps from 7-11 than the AC would have cost
head to Prescott and points north for relief

Of course before this experience I did find a restaurant in Arcadia that was called "Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers". Like any good testie, I was required to spend a long lunch there.
