Racing Events -I can help promo this
FPS Events -I can help promo this too
Arena Commander Events -I can help promo this as well

Racing events I think are really catchy. It is so easy and fun. Until they fix matchmaker though, we can sync-drop, or just use Video Submissions. I have actually helped with one Racing Event that was super successful. There are two types of Racing my friend's and I do; Time Attack, and of course Full Race. Both are fun as hell but Time Attack is more of a Sport you know. Straight Racin' requires tons of etiquette, and a game that is not super janky LOL. I was thinking of something like a "Beat Baron" type of event. Where Baron who is fast as fuck posts his fastest lap. Give him X amount of laps, or X amount of days to submit this. Then first to beat his time wins a $20 steam card or preferably UEC Card or whatever.

So for FPS we have; Planetside 2, BF4, Insurgency, Arma, etc that we can do. These events are different but still fun. I will let you guys throw out some FPS Event idea's. I did do a Wounded Warriors Foundation event for Planetside 2 a while back and that was tons of fun, it was an all-night stream-a-thon thing and we raised some money for something really awesome. I will also point out that we need to all start brushing up on our Tactical Training, Communications, etc if we are going to work together in any sort of Drunken-yet-organized fashion :) What better way to do this than to practice with some Alert's, or other Planetside 2 Operations. Ideally, I would like to see a full platoon or TWO on a Friday/Saturady night. It is a fucking free-2-play game that is not very demanding (though horribly optimized LOL) so no real excuse for not being able to take part in this. Anyway, just throwing that out there.

Okay, for the Arena Commander thing I am thinking like a "Training With Temple" or someone who knows their shit and has a lot of experience, who can actually teach us noobs and drukards how to properly DUI an Aurora or Hornet to Victory in Arena Commander. Let's not beat around the bush though, AC is janky as fuck, so we have to take that into account. It's come along way from it's first public iteration but is far better now. Anyway, I have some other idea's but have to run...

In Closing:
I think that it is really important to make sure all events are 60% about us as an Org having fun, bonding, getting to know each other, finding your wingmans, etc and 40% about Promoting the Org, and all it's awesomeness to those who do not have an Org yet. It just makes sense to promote effectively. As such, I will be able to offer some incentives to get people to come take part in our events. I can do Steam Cards, GPU's, Keyboards autographed by famous MLG Pro Gamers, Beer -If the ATF approves of course, Cold hard cash, etc.

Stuff I have to use for Contests, Giveaway's etc to help promote TEST:

Was bored the other day made these, sent some to @Montoya to give away, or wipe is ass with, whichever he decides:

This Keyboard is Autographed by 2 of the most famous and best Gamers I have every met IRL: Phantonl0rd and the super-nerdy, super-asian, super-successful: TheOddOne:

Found 4 of these laying around, whilst prepping for the Big Move:

Yeah, having friends at Intel, Supermicro, etc has it's perks:

Was just talking with a buddy and we really thought it would be cool to do a build log of our EVGA build, then give that shit away #likeaboss for a TEST event. It is just sitting here taking up space so we figured why not use it to help promote TEST and make it known that TEST is that freaking awesome. Does Imperium do shit like this? Fuck no. Does Xplorer? Negative. Who does shit like this? Those drunkasses over at TEST that's who.

Anyway, I was not going to mention this stuff yet or make a post but hey, you asked about Events and in my experience the number one way to promote events and get Gamers interested is Contests, and the cooler the contest the better so yeah. Let me know what you guys think.

My god Zero. Someone's got a bunch of cool shit lying around! :D

I would love to help organize/lead some FPS events. I can set up dedicated servers for most games if needed, maybe 2 at a time depending on the game. I've also got a ton of TF2 hats to give away if we end up going that route. Let me know in advance if you want any servers set up.

Nice photos. I ditched that very keyboard and waited for the Corsair K70 RGB, but it's a sweet keyboard nonetheless.

On-topic:

Razer sent us a ton of those for free after I met with Min at Razer HQ and we agreed to carry Razer Products. My wife loves those cheap deathstalkers because they are like a cheap, super-tacky version of the apple keyboards and mostly because they are very quiet. I however do not care for them, or any Razer product and only use Corsair KB's now. I am totally spoiled though :)

How awesome would it be to do an event and give something like this away? Some sort of a major event or something I am thinking. (Just some random stuff I had laying around. Was testing something out with new Camera and lightbox.

I just decided to look at Corsair keyboards, and discovered they have an analogue of my old Logitech G15, but with mechanical switches. My wallet is hiding in the corner, screaming in fear. It knows what's coming.

So a few years back Corsair Headhunted all the best Engy's and Product Designers from Logitech. Basically, they told them "If you come work for us here at Corsair, we will let you guys make the best products you can, the ones you want to make, but were not allowed to at Logitech". As far as I know they all jumped ship. And you can tell. Corsair Peripherals are the best out there, IMO.

Back in Topic though, I had another idea for an event that we can do where we all have to take shots, winner gets a bottle of Jamo I picked up last night. Although, not sure how legal it is to send Booze across state lines, anyone know if the ATF will show up?

ZK, do you have any Razer Nagas on hand?
Shoot me a PM. But I would urge you to go with an M95 over a Naga :) Naga's are just inferior in several regards but it comes down to hand shape/sizing and personal preference. But yeah, shoot me a PM partner.

Oh, do would you want to do a Racing Contest? Not sure of specifics but I think most of us would love to see a contest with you in it. I was talking it over with another testbro. We thought it would be fun.

Or perhaps put an Arena Commander event where you get an M50, and we all get Aurora's, then we see how long you can last. Yeah, that sounds fun.

This sounds really fun and also frightening. TEST Aurora swarm...yikes.

I'm currently using a Steelseries Cataclysm mouse that I bought from a co-worker, but it's a little too wide for my tastes and the keybind software for it is terrible. It has a boatload of buttons all over it, but I never really got used to using them in Star Citizen.

A friend of mine has the original Naga (not the newer version) on his guest PC and it felt just about perfect in my hand. I played with it for a few hours and it just felt really, really comfortable.

Sending you a PM in a moment.

I enjoyed the weekly game that used to go on. It got me to play some stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise and meet some people from here.

The first one I managed to get to was when no one was around but Munken xD

I'm still very interested in these, I think Zero has some really cool (see what I did there?) ideas.

Maybe we should aim to try getting biweekly events! I miss the civilization weekends!

Also let's try not to derail the thread topic.

In terms of weekly or bi-weekly events, I'm down for whatever. If I can make it, I'll be there.

In terms of events I've heard about, outside of TEST Squadron, Operation Pitchfork is sounding like it's gonna be huge, and a hell of a lot of fun.

Like all the ideas posted so far. @ZeroKool The giveaways are always popular. Maybe set up an option to donate for them. I would definitely donate for that cause.

In regards to schedule of events I like them to occur on planned regular days. That way I can get family and friends accustomed to my being busy at those times. I hate interruptions when I'm gaming.
