Actually, I just noticed today that at the end of the kraken commercial in fine print it says something like "filmed in a closed area of space by stunt pilots. Do not attempt" so even in-lore the whole thing was staged.

I also like how not a single pirate was flying a Drake ship. Drake is really pushing hard to reform their image huh!
