You can Melt your package for credits instantly. I don't think they do refunds anymore(maybe if you had alot of ships or had a really good reason no ideas though). So you would need to melt and use your credits to purchase something. Just make sure in the end you have something with SQ42 and SC downloads in it or you wont be able to play.(Standalone ships dont have SC)

Well I guess that's it... I will melt my account package and get something better, still, I don't know what to aim for... Polaris sounds awesome same for javelin, I would love to have a mining ship, salvage ship, transport ship.. I don't know which one would be the best choice for that even when I'm more combat oriented, I would like to do something else too.

If I remember correctly from last year the discounted starter packs with increased insurance, SC, and SQ42 were new money only, so funds from melting couldn't be used to pick them up.

If they do it that way this year then you'd do it this way:
  1. Buy new special starter pledge
  2. Melt (exchange button on it in 'My Hangar') your old lesser starter package
  3. Use the funds from melting to CCU the ship from the new pledge to the one you want
  4. Drink beer

dont aim to high or you will have buyer's remorse. we are just saying get the aurora pack thats all you truly need. during the aniversary sale you can pretty much melt it and upgrade it to better insurance for the same price. dont let the sale overwhelm you.

If you are or end up missing an LTI token, I can sell you a small ship like a Argo with LTI if needed at cost, so you can upgrade that to the Sabre and have your LTI (and maybe a free Argo figurine or poster or wtvr it comes with) Cheers !

OH! Don't melt an old pack, there are probably stretch goals you've gotten in on... such as a repair bot, a cat, some armor....
