Sorry Boss, gonna have to disagree. I think the game is a steaming pile of unoptimized garbage. I love fallout. But to temper my expectations I did not go into the game expecting Fallout 5 with multiplayer. Even then, I found the game engine to be terrible, even on a pretty high end machine, poor frame rates rules. Granted they improved after some research and tweaking out the .ini file, but the player shouldn't have to do that just to make the game playable. The other thing I didn't like was it was a poor survival game with a storyline tacked on as an after thought. Waste land seems completely empty, tired of listening to audio tapes as quest npcs. Honestly this game seems like they should have kept it in development off for another year. I'll let it cook for six months then take another look at it.

*edit* yes, I did just C&P my YT response

Im locked at a solid 60fps, Im running a gtx970. Could be a simply issue like going from full screen to bordless window in the settings, its what I did.

I don't see this is a survival game, its pretty much like survival mode on Fallout 4. I know what I did, and many others who ran out of things to do, was re-roll a new character, download all the hardest survival mods and play through again.

To me it looks like Bethesda looked at what the hardcore long term Fallout 4 players were doing, and created that exact game for them.

I'm nearly level 30 after a few days of playing so... yea.. I'm enjoying it! It's meant to be played with friends. Also some of the bugs are infuriating but that's Bethesda for you. They suck at anything other than solo only games. But... Fo76 is still fun to play with friends, and that's what matters the most to me right now.

For some reason clide bot on discord thought this was porn or something...
Power leveling with TESTies @knallx @celgara @MonsterNeal and later also with @Vertisce

Here is the bad ass build I'm working toward (Heavy weapons and Melee)

Any specific leveling strategy or just shooting things?
Do runs with the most mobs for the highest level your strongest team members can handle, low level players get shots in on everything.. but the shots usually have to do a fair amount of damage.. sometimes after shooting something like a level 60+ scorch guy once (as a level 20 character with a weak gun), XP won't register when killed, but most of the time it will. I don't remember names for all the places, but there's a few.
Also, there's like a school or something somewhere that spawns a ton of mobs, and when it's nuked, supporting XP is nearly 400 a kill.
So if someone nukes the right place, and you go in with a team, you'll get a crap ton of levels.
That one's hearsay though, I haven't been lucky enough to get in on those type of runs.

I shouldnt have to wait for a full price game to become something is what is comes down to. You dont pay 60$ then wait for expansions that cost more money to get an experience worthwhile. I mean soon enough there will be skyrim together and that alone will be better than fallout 76 since it works with mods.

I agree with this, but sadly it's rarely the route AAA games are going now because of publishers.
Publisher mentality: Problem that would push launch past deadline to fix? To bad, release it anyway to meet deadline and patch it later.
EA: and add more microtransactions
