I had high hopes for this game online and 1 hour into it they were destroyed because of a horrible pvp aspect, trying to do the 1st escort quest and low and behold a rival gang attacks, it was 2 vs 1 and after the 1st death and respawning literally 5 seconds later a few yards away I was repeatedly camped as they had taken the wagons and backed themselves into a side of a mountain, after almost a dozen deaths and only having killed 1 of them once or twice it was finally over and with that ending my hopes for a good co-op style online version of red dead 2.
Don't get me wrong I am sure many people will love this style of play as it reminds me of COD or BF where you respawn and shoot the guy in the back 5 seconds later over and over again but me personally I find it horrible and with that I want no part of the online version of this game.
That being said I loved the single player and to me it will be game of the year for this alone and I will still be playing it just to find the easter eggs and other stuff I have not finished, I guess it also gives me a reason to get my HOTAS out of the closet and get back into Star Citizen.
