Wait did I just say "featured", I meant "mediocrely advertised" because we all know what IGN is now. Even though they gave Star Citizen praise I still think that the ideal of IGN is of a company made of paid off snobs. With that out of the way I think there were a couple of issues with the article.

The first issue notably is in the following sentence.

"A new stretch goal has yet to be announced, but upon passing $65 million, Cloud Imperium Games began to add Enhanced Ship Modularity, a system that will allow players to refit and customize certain ships."

This sentence is misleading because CIG did announce that the goals would be focused on the game rather then rewarding the player base for now since the $65 million mark and that there would be no more stretch goals of the same type that would be released like those before the $65 million mark (which is pretty much the same thing except it's worded differently). So instead of receiving new perks you get new function later on during development like the FPS module etc.

The other issue with the article is that IGN only demonstrated the FPS module but not anything else. They demonstrated an incomplete module of an incomplete game and some people in the comments section reflected upon that. I personally don't like companies that review games like IGN did but GameSpot is looking to be the better company to keep you updated if you don't want to log onto the forums of CIG.

There's a drunk Hobo that lives near the Trader Joes that I shop at, he wasn't talking about SC, but he was pretty crazy.

This may come as a surprise but RedBull did an article on Star Citizen and it was actually enjoyable to read. I don't have a link but it was on /r/starcitizen a couple days ago.
Idk what the heck it is with redbull. They do everything from Formula 1 to school reviews.. and they always are good at it.
