Start learning, you've much to catch up on.
Its not a race, i havent dived into all the races and lore yet...probably because theres so much of it like Print said.
Given that SC is still being developed & changed along the way, what we currently know of how the game will work will be adjusted periodically until full launch if not also afterwards. So don't feel bad. Instead, I advise that you have fun with how wacky our mistakes will seem as time passes while each time there is a major patch everything is wiped so there are no permanent consequences for these learning mistakes.
It is the gaming SciFi equivalent of BEER, I do believe. Cheers!
