So as some back story I started playing EVE back in 2010 and became a very skilled miner/hauler for my CORP mates in EVE. I was never really one for PVP'ing unless I had to to support the fleets as logi or as a heavy hitter. That being said I would like to move my skill set over from EVE to SC and obviously they are two completely different things. I have started out with my prospector doing some planetside mining as well as some asteroid mining which was quite fun. I do plan to move up to an Orion at some point in the future to further my capabilities for the glory of the Test Empire. That all being said, who do I need to get into contact with to get with the "Rock Raiders" as I want to be able to start supporting fleet ops as much as I can when that time comes around. You will fit in fine! Myself and @Black Sunder head up the industry related things here in TEST. When we get more game mechanics for mining in the PU, we will kick up mining ops and all that jazz once again!

Welcome aboard! I think we are all eagerly awaiting these professions to be more fully in the game, right now they are really just placeholders.
But isnt salvage just a fancy way of saying "ship mining"?
