What do the forum ranks mean?

So, I'm currently a "Commander," But it doesn't seem to mean anything, since there are plenty of people that have more posts and less likes and have the same rank, or more likes and more posts overall and are ranked "Captain"

So, what's the organizational structure? Is it the drunken mess that we all assume it is?

I think they should change the structure to:

Posters who make no sense whatsoever: Totally Sloshed.
Posters who make some sense but are still for the most part incoherent: Intoxicated
Posters who make sense but no one agrees: Wasted
Posters who make sense but don't know which forum they are on: Inebriated
Posters who make sense but don't know how to use a spelling check: Loaded
And finally posters who fit all of the above: WTF?!
