Just buy any ship or pack you can that mount up to get past concierge then you have access to concierge packs and after 24 hours you can melt what ever you need to buy the pack you want.
And there is a lot of packs you don't see when not Concierge.. ;)
And you get access to Chairman's club and a lot more.
And as concierge you get your own customer handler if you need help with anything.. etc.. etc..

ive been seeing prices betweek 350 - 390 and i may be looking as this to be my big main ship. mainly due to its exploration ability's but that it also has a Medbay
oh yes my uss Enterprize. a city in space or a small one at that.

If you still want a Carrack I have an old exploration pack with a Carrack, Terrapin, and Dragonfly (Black) in buyback if you are interested. It's one of the best value packs ever offered and you don't have to be concierge. I'd sell it for cost.

Alternatively, the anniversary sale should be right around the corner.

It looks like I'm arriving a little late to the show here, but I figured I'd drop by and see if you're still interested in buying a Carrack. I'd be willing to sell mine at cost for what I paid ($350USD) + Paypal fees for a fellow member. FYI, I had "upgraded" it between the Endeavor, Crucible, Hull D and Reclaimer when they were all at parity with $0 upgrades, but decided to stick with the Carrack in the end. UEE exploration pack is a nice option,cuz it can be paid by store credits which easily @30-40%off in 2nd-handed market.Maybe you can get the pack below $500 in actual spending.You can get additional game digital download both SC and S42，Dragonfly，FL DUR，Terrapin and Cyclone RN.
Premise ：
1.Accept 2nd-handed trade.
2.Find a way to get access to UEE 2948 PACK，become Concierge or ask CIG support for help
3.Enlarge budgets $100-120

I have a stand alone, LTI Carrack in my buy-back. I believe it is an old one ... $350.00 version.

Depending on your current investment you can also look into the
"UEE Exploration" (https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Packages/UEE-Exploration-2948-Pack) pack which contains a carrack (pack is 695$, Carrack, Terrapin, Dur, Cyclone, Dragonfly. All LTI with SQ42 and 20000 UEC starter money)
I think its a pretty good bang for the buck. I just dont want a Carrack.

Please consider that you can ugrade all ships in that pack but if you want to melt something you need to melt everything!

Yeah that is how I grew my fleet one or more LTI pack's then CCU upgrade ship in them I had no interest in, to ship I want to have like some of the large ship I did CCU during sale or concept sale.
That gave me a LTI pack with ships I wanted to have and then I moved on to next pack...

You can get access to the concierge packs if you ask customer service very politely.

I would say that is not always the case because I asked politely and they said no.

Those fucking bastards had me pegged though because I spent the money to get to concierge and get that package anyway. Ha! I showed them!

So, I do not understand these Concierge packets,.. they come with Star Citizen and Squadron 42, but by the time you are a Concierge, you probably already have these, plus, what happens if you already have some of the ships in the package?

Upgrade or otherwise dispose of ships that are not in the package, or upgrade the ship in the package. If you sell or dispose of the package, everything in the package goes with it, including upgrades. Be aware, disposing will get you one LTI token from the package if it had one to begin with, and a store credit.
