what i did during the green phoenix was i sent an email to concierge desk and they let me buy one. I have no want for the privateer i have the bmm why would i need a marketplace also i'll just park my bmm on top of my kraken bam done deal.

I think people forget it takes quite a few people to make this ship run, not to mention the ships its going to need around it, depending on where you plan on running this thing you will need support ships, support crew, I mean sure you could run AI for a bunch of stuff but in the end someone trying to solo this thing out in the middle of nowhere is just gonna get flattened lol. All these capital ships out there and I really do think people are forgetting the crew aspect, they already said AI wont be as good as human.

If only we were part of some sort of organization or squadron of people... In all seriousness though you are right I see a lot of people acting like they can solo these ships effectively, I agree with you that I don't think it will be close to having human crew.

I feel like you're bang on with being in a remote place. Take a Kraken to an area of space that a select few scoundrels are starting to exploit, and use it as the hub for the ne'er-do-wells to bring their ill-gotten gains to.

If you are into bounty hounting just use some Avenger and the Cutlass Blue and set the shops to sell the goods confiscated and retrived from your bounty...

Always looks at how to fit a ship into your gameplay, not the other way around, this ship could be a central hub for a lots of gameplay, not direcly related to trading...

I'm going to find me a nice planet and park it... mobile Test trade center/city. I don't plan on flying it much. Mostly just for a place to call a base while we find our home among the stars.

Well you need to be Chairman's Club/Concierge for you to even be able to see the Kraken, so it's all us whales fault.


But yeah the whole "F5 wars" is such a bad way to do these sales. Why can we not do a faux-lotto system? Refundable deposit to try and discourage tons of alt accounts, then X amount out of the group get a token to buy it for the next 72 hours or whatever, then gets recycled back into the pot.

More convoluted and a bit more work, but certainly a lot more fair and equitable than F5 bonaza, which encourages bots and punishes people who have different time zones or jobs that don't allow them to be at their computer/phones.
