I enjoyed the article, and as the video includes the back of my head, happy they got my good side :)
For the GLORY of TEST!

I was thinking there was not enough representation of the Org in the CItCon section so knowing there is at least the back of a TESTies head in the video makes it all the better :like:

Im not sure what I should have expected.

They said they would be investigating... which I guess they did, and the conclusion was that its got a big dedicated fanbase, raised a lot of money and is taking a while to finish.

I was half hoping it would be an attack piece, I enjoy those a bit more.

The overall tone is positive and its mostly informative, rather than trying to draw conclusions from any sort of bias.

Filthy neutrals.

Thanks for clarifying “investigating”, Cosmic!

I’ve noticed that most of the media markets that were very critical of Star Citizen are becoming much more “neutral” in their reporting on it. They're not necessarily fans but their smart enough to know that the “proof is in the pudding” and if they want to get readers (not just a negative readers) who support of Star Citizen they need to change their tone.

I have to give Chris and CIG credit that they didn’t knee-jerk react to every critic and feel the need to justify the progress of the game. We all know there’s been failures and missteps in the journey but ultimately we also see that there has been more progress and positive steps over the past few years.

The BBC is a main news source in the UK, BBC click is not well known and is always 'fluffy' and lacking in detail, (think of it as explaining tech to your grandmother) it has small viewing figures. I suspect this piece was filmed due to Citizen con being in the UK. Framed that way it was a positive piece.

SQ42 next year CONFIRMED by the beeb NaffNaff!

This is what you get when you don't have a biased person doing a informative piece of journalism. The problem with so many youtubers or social media or just media in general today is their almost all biased in some way or form or to some extent, even Montoya is biased towards Star Citizen its hard not to be the but he isn't so biased that it takes away from pointing out the good and bad where some youtubers have all negative or all positive spins on subjects because they cant control their bias and look at it from both sides or neutrally. A good piece has facts which can cut through the bias tones of what is being said, you can be bias but if there is factual information to support the piece it wont matter if its bias or not. In the end its mostly speculative or opinion based much of the time which makes the bias that much worse.

Indeed, I am not sure it's possible for anyone to be honestly able to look at subjects from both sides. We all naturally filter out information that doesn't fit our world view or deem it unimportant to the conclusion.

Even CIG as much as we are hyped about the possibilities of what can be can significantly differ from the vision Chris has shared with us about what will be. Or a couple of misssteps with these quarterly ship sales could collapse the whole project.

But I agree with what others have said. The click piece seemed rather light in information.

The piece is on Youtube, it appears to be a directors cut:

I've just noticed there is a few frames at the end where it says "Miscellaneous Gameplay Footage" haha!

Bah! Make a video so I can watch it and give you another lame / pointless comment and a thumbs up. Yeah the attack pieces are entertaining but it's nice to see somebody as big as BBC being real about the company.
