Yeah i don't know which one i really want i do prefer lazers for alot of stuff due to ammo costs but the inferno color scheme and knowing that Gatling guns put out faster DPS normally than Laser its a tough choice.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who made the final choice based mostly on color.
Yep, the Vanguard is still in a class of its own and honestly, it does it well. I would add the Freelancer MIS and Defender to the group of long-range support/escort, but the Vanguard is still at the top of the list. The only issue is if someone brings in dedicated fighters with their Kraken then you'll be hard-pressed to win that engagement.
I love the color scheme of the Inferno, but I prefer Ion for the additional equipment plus the savings on ammo. Personally, I wish that we could get either ship in either color scheme & I'd rather have twin S6 weapons flanking the cockpit instead of a single S7 on 1 side. I know that's mostly an aesthetic thing, but if you had the lasers with their timing alternating then that could bring some serious thunderbolts.
If only i wasnt doing a renovation on my house costing me thousands of dollars this would be an option haha.

I used credit. Melted a Valk and upgraded a DF 2 pack.
Well i have the exploration pack with the terrapin and i want to swap out my terrapin for it but i highly doubt they will..... If not i'll just wait to see if i get my 7k for my insurance on time and i'll get it off that just annoying.

Yeah I might melt my Valk, with the Cit-Con skin, as I don't need it. I suppose I was a little relaxed at Cit-Con 2018 when I bought it. But still I prefer the Mercury for my needs.
How much was the Valk with Citizen-con skin when you bought it?
Edit: I haven't tried flying her, but I hear it's pretty damn amazing. I'd love to take one for a spin, see how she sails.
Excellent video. I picked up the Ares Inferno and Ion. Just the base paint jobs of each, which seemed best for me.
