God I loved the hell outta these games. But Privateer and was the one that really blew my mind. And then Freelancer. Good times.
I played and loved all of the Wing Commander games. I loved the movie as well.
Freelancer was, and still is, a Classic........Privateer II - The Awakening has always been my personal favourite space game.
WingCommander 3 was the first game i bought from the series. Loved it and i then purchased the previous games aswell as privateer. With Freelancer, they still have a nice place in my shelves
