I have built roads between my main bases, that is a lot of axe and pickaxe work to get them as "Roman" as possible.Building bases in this game made me realize how OCD I am.
Seriously, even the littlest of things bother me. It's bad when you destroy and rebuild chests your friends made that are facing the wrong way.Building bases in this game made me realize how OCD I am.

I do however recommend you play solo first. If you go the TEST server you will immediately get access to all kinds of end game stuff you are not supposed to have, which spoils the game.
I’m playing this with my kids. Great fun and terrifying if you, say, go exploring and get out on the plains because it looks nice.

Yeah the Plains wrecked me bad.
20min of sailing, finally arrived. Set foot off the boat and instakilled by those little green shits.
Almost rage quit the game.
There has been many times I have rage quit the game only to pick it back up the next day. But I agree after a long sail trip only to be instakilled by the mosquito because it was flying near the shore is rude.
I died to those guys sailing around when I was still at Bronze Age.
Tried sneaking back to recover my body....instagibbed.
Ended up rage log-offing. Came back after a couple of hours and managed to get back to my body (Narrowly avoided their patrols).
Avoided Plains ever since.....
Oh and those goddamn mosquitos....chased my boat back to Meadows biomes.
