I'm not thrilled that they lost the Galley as that was supposed to support a lot of gameplay in the future. I'm also frustrated they went to large reactor, shields and coolers as that means this will never be stealthable. Otherwise, count me excited.

I think this is an instance that really calls for 3 medium reactors, shields and coolers. A ship this size ought to be stealth capable.

Oh my oh my. The closer we are to release of this ship the more I love it. This will be my daily pve ship, the pilot is already controlling 4 guns, that is more dps than a hornet. With some crew this baby will really rock!

Yes, indeed; and with 2 medium computers, the entire ship could be operated by one player, though they'd still need to choose between guns and missiles at any single moment.

I'm betting it will have speed and maneuverability just above that of the Lancer, which is enough for serious combat.

It's gonna be interesting one to see how this fits in with me vanguard and freelancer mis. I like medium ships that are soloable.

Though I think it will be soloable, you'd be giving up a lot to put S5 turrets in the hands of AI and the full-time ability to launch 16 S2 missiles 4 at a time, is something I'd want in battle. This thing is a beast. I think people will want to load the big turrets with S4 guns and take it against fighters rather than bigger ships.

It's gonna be a dope ship and the new meta all-purpose-ish kinda like a cutty but less cargo and a whole lot more survivability.
Plus imagine pimping its computers out and slaving one of those manual turrets if possible...
though I feel the upper deck is a bit of wasted space to just be used for components with that wide-open center aisle.
And... how in the heck is anyone going to get big components up there? Grav lift sideways up the ladder shaft?

With that much firepower, this ship is very likely to be very slow turn. This packs some serious punch, there will need to be some sort of nerf to speed.

Depending on how well this functions after release, I'd say this would be a lock for many future BIS tournaments starting next year if not a final 4 contender for some of them.

Yeah, In my opinion, they really should've had the lower level house the main components that would be so bulky then have the crew space up stairs to then have the life pods / beds eject out the top instead of the bottom. It would resolve these sorts of possible issues.

Banu gunship sounds hilarious to me.

Imagine a gunship that fires random crap and trinkets to people on the ground....at a high rate of fire. "Stuffed toys! Wrenches! Garden Gnomes! Come buy it humans!"

I have one of these puppies, so I have been watching closely as they've redone it and I gotta say; Baby girl gon' bring the boom-boom. I have a feeling that this thing will be the perfect reaction-force bruiser or a one-ship convoy escort solution. She'll be quick to giddy up and go or burn to a stop with that nutcracker on a pivot, but smart money is on the ol gal being a cow on the lateral. I am excited to get my hands on one so I can find the most ridiculous meta loadout. (AKA inevitably 100% scattercannons for advanced BAC combat maneuvering) No matter what you end up strapping to this thing, it will make whatever you decide to point it at very dead.
