"Only" 50$ more? My paranoic truther persona is trying to break out the iron cage in my head... I'm beginning to suspect an evil marketing scheme suggesting to upgrade to the new MISC ship from here.
Don't give in! This will bite you in the ass one day because you might have to upgrade from the Odyssey to the BMM again in the future :D

This just keeps going up in the price now dun it?
I was sad that I didn't get it for $250, but man am I glad I got it when it was $350.
If things go on like this, it'll be like $750 when it finally gets flyable.

I am concerned about only a $50 increase after seeing the new previews... my investment into a lot of BMM's better be worth it.
Didn't you get them back when they were still $250? That's already around 45% increase in value isn't it?

I got mine through some unskillful manipulations (CCUs), so around $325 if I lost my mind then melted it.

Yea but, I want to see that 300% to 400% increase so the barrier to entry is larger. The more expensive the BMM becomes, the harder it is to earn in game, and thereby reduces total competition. And if I can rent my fleet out and earn UEC without doing much of anything, and if that is maximized (eg sustainable premium rental/usage fees for hard to earn ships) then mission accomplished.

Well, that's just a hilarious amount of BMM you got there. Our auroras might blot out the sun, but seems to me your BMMs be blotting out our auroras.

Now, BMM is going up in price like, a lot, but not all in-game ships are necessarily as hard to obtain as their price would indicate, like say, Ballista at $140 is the same price ingame as $45 Nox, $195 Hurricane is cheaper than $100 Hawk, etc. Well, the more expensive ships do tend to be lot more expensive though, and if BMM requires you to first pick up the Banu language... that's a bit of a barrier for even guys who churn out money like crazy. Then again, maybe the actual price isn't going to be all that bad, since that language barrier mission is there.

Is this truly your purchased fleet or fleet on buybacks and ccu's?

Knowing that Gunner has reached above 40k spending on his ledger, and even if assuming only half is effectively in hangar (besides all reward ships like his Javelin that comes from referrals ie), I'm not surprised by that screenshot :) plus it's consistent with what he tells about his BMM fleet since I first read from that for IAE2020 from him ;)

If you play the CCU game well you can save a lot.
For exemple if I want some more BMM like Gunner I can make BMM for myself for less than 180$ with current personal stock. I'm sure some with older CCUs can do better.

Maybe I should do the same 😃
Renting ships will surely be very profitable.

Higher price, upgraded pixels.

It's hard to judge the ship until it launches in game, except to say that today it is largely the same concept still after all these years.

I'm thinking that the BMM price keeps going up to make pricing room for a smaller Banu trader, seeing the lasting popularity of this one.

That's my legit hangar, +/- whatever the Star Citizen Hangar XPLORer gets errors on, I know it misses the same two PTVs every time and my F7A skin (have to manually click it in fleet view) and other pledges like that.
My BBs dwarf that horrendously.

Yea the CCU chain game can save a lot, when I saw the errors of my ways, I jumped straight to CCUs. Want to save $$$? Play the CCU mini strategy game, it works. Just sometimes takes a year or more to get your major savings. For example, I am almost out of Taurus.. I did the Taurus CCU's before the price jump, after it got a price jump then I CCU'd them to different things. The best savings were for major jumps that were CCU'able. Like the Carrack $0 CCUs. I wish I had checked out more of those $0 CCU's back in the day.

While I'm slightly surprised that the BMM only went up $50 after the recent SC vid from CitizenCon that showed off the new concept ideas they have for it, I'm also remembering that its price was also recently raised back for Alien week this past June. This being said, I suspect that it will continue to climb in price as time & its development progresses. Maybe it'll be approx $750 when released into the Verse & then $1k when all of its functionality including the internal bazaar are also in game & working with the ship. As for in game, I'd love to see those that want to buy it in game after launch have to jump through all sorts of hoops to gain reputation with various Banu factions up to an exalted level where they can then purchase the ship from them. This being said, there's still the matter of ship insurance & customization to consider. CIG has stated that in many cases, the only way to upgrade your ship in game to where the new components will be considered as part of the insurance coverage will be through the official manufacturer shops. So those that choose to purchase their BMM in game & have to gain all that rep, might have an easier time getting the Banu to customize their ships because they would've already earned all the rep needed to purchase the ship. As for insurance lengths on in game ship purchases, I have no idea how that will function, especially with ships from alien civilizations like the Banu.

Have to disagree here. The concept that didn't change for a long long time got a lot better recently.

It got bigger .... I'll agree to that. For me, the concept of how I thought the ship will 'work' stayed about the same.
Sure they didn't change the general idea. That said, they basically had very vague ideas before they finally prepared the concept they presented at the last citcon. However, the appeal of that ship only grew into a must have for me after they actually presented their plans for the interior which didn't exist for years on end before.

I bet you're wishing that you had the reverse of this CCU on hand now, especially since that would be upgrading the Warden by about double its cost.
I had a dozen of them 😆
But I used them just as the warbond ccu were starting to release (so not much chaining).

Mind you that even without that $250 CCU, you can still make one for about $170.
