Lets be honest here, if you take Roblox and add real money items which are tradable, does that suddenly mean its METAVERSE or is it just another game?
Its as if non-gamers are suddenly discovering MMO's for the first time.

I been in online worlds like this starting over 15 years ago and all I been in you could buy your land piece if you so chose to or visit others or public.
It looked like shit 15 years ago and it still look like shit.. ha ha ha.. They think is new because it is VR ha ha ha..... Which is nothing new either..!
Online VR dating in virtual worlds is about as old as VR is... This is the dumbest shit I seen to call it as a new thing....

The money I spend in regards of SC, it to both save myself time & hassle in the game as well as to help sponsor the progress of the game because I believe that it will be worth it in the long run for myself & many others.
As for dealing with games that deal with people making, buying & selling currency goes, I've been playing on IMVU off & on since mid 2006. I've seen all sorts of things come & go there.

Wow, next they're going to start saying FPS games are causing kids to rage quit and need psychotherapy or seek a gaming addiction meetings.
Let's face it...this whole Metaverse business is about breaking the general public into buying stuff online albeit in a 3D/Avatar/Meta setting.
That's all it is. Another way to sell us shit we don't need. NFTs, in-game digital items, real world items, etc, etc. Soon they'll wax lyrical about how cool it is that you can order a pizza/viagra in-Metaverse and have it delivered to you.
