Crusader Ion can loot?...Whhhaaaaaatttt?

Pleasant surprise to discover that I can loot with the Ion
Bunker missions work again for me and I can fill the external storage with a set of armor, lots of rifles etc...and ammo
May be old news to you mutant band of drunken brothers/sisters but alas its a blast to be back in the pixel verse and find something new to do with the virtual toys we acquire.
Looks like I need to pay more attention to reviews and videos

Having the external weapon rack and storage bin is an undersold feature. Sabre and Gladius have that now, and it is expected that pretty much every ship will get something similar. It ain't a lot of space, but what's there is useful :) Kinda like bags on a motorcycle, something I consider a necessity even if only to hold a few tools.

I'm a bit surprised that you are using the Ion at all for this kind of work, but sure. It has fallen greatly from it's previous competence, and like so many ships in SC works best as part of a team.

Taking some small steps as I adjust from VR to Trackir but yes the bunker missions thus far have been completing. But I see the AI are not as smart as before and the bad guys can stand in front or take cover right in front of a friendly without drawing fire every time making me take some time for a clean kill.
Its nice to have them complete
I read that the ION was nerfed and its range is ridiculously low now but alas I try and play with as much as the fleet as possible and see what kind of run I can do. Its so much more agile than the Redeemer!

I was banished when the EAC came on line and have not had the chance to play with my new toy until of late ohhhh great one.
Everything is fresh and bran new for Oldie Van Moldie here

This was most likely just a slight scratch against the mighty Aurora, which probably didn't even notice it.

P.S. Can you sell the loot to raise aUEC?

Not yet, hopefully Soon*(TM). For now it's more of a 'cost avoidance' type thing as a method to stock up on replacement armor, weapons, ammo, etc. to avoid needing to buy all that after you die and lose it all!

Gladius has storage, but it's a smaller compartment. 250uSCU if my list is still accurate. Take a look at the armor you've got on hand to see what would fit.

Took it on an Easter egg hunt doing a destroy contraband mission. Armor eats it up almost immediately, but for ammo and rifles its perfect for the hoarder suffering from F.A.D.(Firearm Acquisition Disorder)
