So i am playing with my buddy and we are doing a pirate mission. The distress signal is in the middle of nowhere, but theres a comm array. Is there a way to determine which comm array we are under to deactivate it? There is none near.

I would target the nearest one other than that I really don't know of a way, I have not deactivated one in a long time and if I remember it would give you a crimestat for trespassing but that may have changed.
I know you need a crypto key (?) to either activate or deactivate them now.
I accidentally deactivated a comm array once, thinking that I was turning it back on, and yes I got a crime stat. That was a long time ago now, as I am just getting back into the game after a few years of quiet, and have not done any missions involving a comm array.
I think it's a bug actually with the mission. The spots are out of range but the mission requires a comm array signal haha.
