So Disney finally makes an explanation as to why Mando season 3 lacked depth. It's because Dave and Jon were forced to rewrite so much of it to remove Cara Dune from the story. Now that Kathleen Kennedy is out, Dave and Jon have written Cara Dune back into Mando season 4, as well as writing her into Asoka Tano and the revived Rangers of the New Republic.

Poor writing is poor writing regardless of the reason.
It was the most boring kind of formula and completely flat. Too much tell not enough show. No character development.
It was just bad TV.
