For the alpha/beta (before final reset), I'm planning on just derping around, finding some good spots with fellow TESTies and doing everything. Mining, Salvaging, Escort, Bounty Hunting, Piracy, Trading, etc etc. I just wanna see what I enjoy doing!
I am most interested in piracy however, so I suspect that a bunch of us will group up in the fringes and start looting and pillaging stuff.

I second the derping.... but taking scout ships and claiming asteroid fields in the UEE with the UEE for the Org will be a priority on full release day (assuming there is a beta to live reset)
Then going Orion fleet mining for a while then blowing stuff up (mainly myself)!

A mix of mining and derping, with any luck I won't derp my Orion into a rock right off the bat :D
Either scouting or escorting some fellow TEST scouts. Might do some money-making runs first however. Might convert my Tali into a "blockade runner" (swap bomb bays for cargo, get best engines I can) Tali so her name is more fitting (MoneyShot).
Probably Squadron 42, exploration and mining to begin with, then things will happen in-between, but in the end I'll die in the most macho way possible:

i would imagine that non pirate ORG mates would be offered free and safe passage in any TEST pirate system. I'm thinking a big part of piracy is going to be offering safe passage through systems for a fee and/or pirate escorts acting as "local police for hire" in Low/Null-sec.
Of course ORG sponsored Privateering will likely be big because it'll be a way for ORGS to not-openly attack rival orgs. Just hire some pirates to threaten trade routes frequented by rivals.
So i kinda hope that non pirate and even law upholding TEST members will turn a blind eye to any TEST pirate activity occurring nearby. You don't hassle us, we don't hassle you. In Fact, we'll offer to assist you for a nominal fee.

I would imagine that exploration is something akin to a raid. You have 24 hours (or whatever) to go as deep as you can. Send scouts ahead to see what it's like. Are there Vanduul waiting in the wings? Perhaps a fanatical, homicidal cult of Xi'An who lust for the blood of humans? Maybe just valuable asteroids brimming with precious metals.
Along the way, you'll encounter a host of NPCs, bosses, mini-bosses, etc. The best part is, once that space is explored, it's yours... as long as you can keep it. Either way, once you enter that area, there should be a nav bouy that would say "Scouted by: XXXXXX" or "First Discovered by:..."

I don't really have plans. I'm going to dick around until I figure out what is the most fun, and then keep doing that. I'm trying to make sure I have ships that can fill a variety of roles from the start so that I can try it all.
Seems quite a few are interested in piracy, I feel like if we properly organised (As much as you can organise pirate Testies) the pirates we could get some 1337 pirate strats going.

You need a name, then. Every sub-org needs a name. Your name should definitely be "The Beer, Utilities, Tail and Tali Pirates"
You can just call yourselves "B.U.T.T Pirates" for short.
I plan to band together with other TESTies in our fleet of Aurora's and escort Captain Richard's Idris party boat into the sun. Should that plan fail, I'll just ram my Aurora into Captain Richard's Idris while singing a drinking song. This will all be done with a beer in each hand.
