CIG is also showing Citizen 1.0 release features to be built in the round up.

Looks like 'Death of a Spaceman' lives on ....

And its good to see that a Star Citizen 'Main Story' is a planned addition for the 1.0 release.

Thank you for the links!

Ya know, I would have been fine with 4.1 if the whole release only contained the following:

- We fixed the cargo elevators being all weird and whacky, which made our most basic starter game loop impossible to play!
- We fixed the "you just refueled a second ago but nah ah, you run out of QT fuel whenever we feel like it so you just wasted ALL your game time for nothing!"
Both of these issues, especially the Fuel issue was in since multi-servers per shard were a thing. It's a database value transfer, how hard is that to fix!!!

Both of these "small insignificant bugs we will ignore as we concentrate on fixing important stuff" cost me about 5 hours of gaming time being wasted since I started playing 4.1, so in the last 3 days....

Eff CGI and their "content"! I'm so effing tired of them adding "content" while 95% of the game is broken on the most basic level and NONE of the additions work. FIX THE DAMN GAME AS YOU PROMISED!

(yes I know they gotta keep releasing ships, thats not content, that's just financing... I'm okay with that part)

Can't be worse than not being able to enter your Hangar because that damn thing doesn't spawn. At you HOME station. That's supposed to be a fixture there.
Sure, you can run contested zones or hire as someone elses gunner. But still, kinda game breaking.

Also, I could live without doublechecking my helmet before I enter any given Elevator.

Ah yes the elevators of suffocation! TBH I haven't encountered one in a while. I've been running around a lot without a helmet on because I forgot to put it on after having to drink, and got lucky I guess.
That hangar bug is really rough, never happened to me but yeah that should be of highest priority!

Instead I had other hangars and players seemingly spawn on top of mine. After asking for take off and doors started opening a ship just popped into existence inside mine and the hangar doors were doubled up, one closed, one opening as it should... Thankfully the collision detection seemed to work only for the one you are supposed to be in, it's just a visual bug. Still it was rather scary.

Just some more of the fun "additions" to the game:

ATC is still unresponsive in some lagrange stations. Really "fun" when you got only 3 boxes left to deliver for a hauling mission chain that took an hour already and pays a 100K / box...
I had to utilize the pads that are still open to go in on foot, request my starter ship with it's instant claim time to get a hangar, request takeoff to open the hangar doors, fly out to figure out which hangar it is, fly to my "real" ship the C1 which had cargo in it, board that, reverse it right up to the gate with the ramp open. Get back to a pad in EVA, do the claim/request loop AGAIN, get lucky that the same hangar gets assigned, open hangar doors, get on foot to the very edge of the hangar, and Then I could start unloading via my Maxwhatever tractor beam reaching into the back of my Spirit parked outside the blue energy field.

Lorville is literally unusable as every time I went there, careful to only approach my hangar once I was given permission vertically... yet every single time the game took my ship and impunded it. Even as I was almost down to touching the ground it just went NO, and took it.
It happened to me on takeoff a couple of times as well, I was blissfully burning away, high in the sky and pop, black screen, back to the spaceport you go you filthy casual!
Also for some reason Hurston feels like you are flying in soup, while the rest of planets are fine... but that might be a feature.

On multiple occasions, ppl parked their ship on every single pad at logistic centers and just left them there. I had to nudge em off before I could park up to unload for my hauling missions. That was fun.... Not when the collision detection decided that a fully shielded Spirit shouldn't be able to move an Arrow and instead just blew up, while the Arrow remained unbothered.
I could go on with a million bugs and logical failings of the game...

Point is, I don't see ANY of the promised bugfixing. They keep doing what they always done, the exact opposite of what they promised.

fun fact: the correct pronounciation of "hathor" is "hat hor", the name of the ancient egyptian goddess of mining. and if you want to be fully authentic, make sure it's a throat-deep H and not just a shallow H.

The games been near unplayable to me because of a combination of elevators not working trains not working but mostly not being able to spawn my own ship in my own hangar which is totally game breaking. The whole of 4 has been a total unplayable mess and yet there still concentrating putting stupid missions and other non essiential things? I don't get it.

Always listen to the advice of talking Cats when it comes to the gods of ancient Egypt!

Actually I found that ATC at times ignores the Hotkeys. But still works if you use the chat chanel. But I guess that was the first thing you tried so I'm just saying.

The bug that's haunting me personally is the immortal ninetail goon.
You know, the one in the bunker mission that just teleports around and ignores you shooting at him. But he's fine shooting you.
Got a lot of "6% enemies left" Bunker runs lately that I had to abandon.

Yep, tried ATC via chat but still nothing, thus the "workaround".
I've seen suggestions that I should store-retrieve my ship to make the fueling stick. Tried it multiple times but never worked, it shows full (or not, but still calculates like it is full) and as soon as I QT out of there, it drops to the previous level and I run out. I'm basically stuck with moving around Microtech until my fuel runs out and I have to claim the ship.

Damn that goon problem sounds bad. I only did a couple of bunker missions since 4.1 and haven't had any really bad issues with the mobs. Some of them did take 15 shots to the head with a rifle to drop, but eventually all did. Although the mission describes friendly forces, and I remember having to deal with them before, I haven't seen a single one alive yet. Which is actually better than having them teleport around, right into my line of fire...
A lot of mobs still don't move out of the spawn room, and I thought, what a good idea, I should TEST grenades on em and see if they are working better now... The arc shown while aiming the nade is ofc unrelated to where the grenade will go, so I lobbed it into an i-beam right in front of my face and died. I also didn't know these were impact nades? Didn't they used to bounce?

The "fuel bug" also happens to any internal counter of a ship, which includes the RMC stored in a Vulture. I lost full loads while moving back from stations to NB.
My workaround to the fuel and above bug was to stay on Microtech, warp around to the most visited logistic hubs, and scrap the abandoned ships I find there. It works as long as it's not an armistice zone and most aren't.

2 magazines FS9, one magazine Ravager shotgun 4 grenades plus a sneak takedown from behind. Ninetail still zipping about . So I gave up.

True, that RMC and Fuel thing sounds like server meshing being out of whack.
On my part the weirdest thing lately concerning cargo happened to be 2 SCU crates full of loot suddenly vanishing from my cargo grid.
Shit happens and I just shrugged it off.
Thing is, about two days later, upon landing in a station they suddenly reappeared on the grid. Loot and all intact. Almost pushed the Ursa out of my MAX.
Makes you wonder where the crates spend their off-time.. ;-P

With how SC has been going on for forever, I'm way more surprised at the fact that the 4 grenades didn't get you, than I am at the ninetail shaking it all off lol

Yeah the replication layer is still not replicating like a replicator should... Thus all the disappearing stuff, including your boxes.

I had cargo vanishing in my Spirit. Decided that I should eat/drink in the middle of some hauling missions, and went up to the food court. I called in the ship via asop up top, went down to hangar, ship was reset, closed up and in default position, not as I left it. Cargo hold was empty. Stored it, called it, and now MY ship came up, in the position I left it with open ramp and the cargo was there.

So if any of u has cargo boxes disappearing off your ship in the hangar, try the store-retrieve cycle, it might just work!

Actually, truth is it was the same grenade, multiple times. 4 times it went off and then reapeared in my hand. Several times it just reappeared.
And before you ask, I only got one.
Did some practicing trick throws that with the grenade stock being infinite and all though.
WE are TEST after all! :o7:

I'll keep that in mind.
Just as I have to keep in mind to instantly store any ship that I called on the terminal while inside the station.
Otherwise what would await me in the hangar is a "status: destroyed".
9 times out of 10 anyhow.
