I would love to, but not a single ----ing hauling mission has worked for me all weekend, and no other mission bothered to ----ing pop up.

It's been a rough weekend for damn sure; did not go according to anyone's plan. I managed to complete ONE, just 1!!! introductory mission, and collect perhaps a dozen SCU beyond that which was donated to a friend who cared more.
After the amount of time and effort that this one had on PTU, I'd like to hear wtf got changed on Live to create the disasterous results that occurred.
EDIT: THREAD INTENSITY WARNING. This patch has frustrated a lot of people, not just testies, apparent on Reddit for most upvoted comments. Regardless of the criticisms in this thread, we're all still Star Citizens, and the mission and vision of the game(s) we can all get behind. Please don't let the criticisms in this thread deter you from attempting to enjoy the game this patch cycle.

I feel your pain! My client crashed somewhere around 100 times over the weekend, my first mission for HD took over 7 hours to complete. And I feel like a complete idiot not knowing the ins and outs by the written words on the screen, luckily O-Lefty answered all my questions graciously in spite of my gaming illiteracy. And I am 1 short to reach the 1st tier, 99% of which was cargo I stole from an abandoned raft lol

My favorite is when I request the cargo to get loaded onto the elevator and its only 1scu, then the elevator tells me its overloaded. I know, I ask for to much. Im the asshole.
Post-Tuesday (22 July 2025) Maintenance window.. Game is running a lot better than over the weekend, and I was able to complete a half dozen missions. Biggest blocker is other players - the Haul mission pickup points have been saturated with a constant backlog of players, and the other missions either rarely show up or get grabbed within seconds.
Umm.. 'Pro tip' or maybe lesson learned: IF you manage to snag a Large Recovery mission and decide to fly the cargo ship in, do NOT attempt to use it to return to whatever you got there in. My gaming session was effectively ended last night by the C2 disappearing as I went back to recover my SH at the mission site, leaving me floating in space. The bugs that followed made it impossible to complete any other missions.

And with the latest fuckfest they managed to take the final hope I might have had to at least get to the fucking armor by fucking up my Prospector, so now I can't even fucking mine anymore.

Lets take a break, this past weekend was brutal and yea I hear the hotfixes also broke other things.
I'm thinking about having a ST Strange New Worlds watch party in Discord and other nerdy shows I can find box sets for that we can watch together, lmk if interested.

Last night I made it to Tier 3 with Hurston, despite:
1) Griefers, especially at pickup sites, doing whatever they could to interfere with other's play sessions.
2) RP'ers locking down OM points. Annoying as it was to lose the 'rescued' C2, these guys were legit; it's PvP that fits into the game.
3) Cargo elevators being fussy little princesses.
4) Mission boxes falling through the planet.
5) Ships getting broken crossing server boundaries.
6) The various 'built in' issues with any and all of the cargo transporters in game. Even the Raft has some clearance issues near the front when you're trying to throw boxes with the ATLS.
7) QT navigation needing constant resets to destination.
8) External pads at stations always having ships abandoned on them.
9) Landing pads in front of Freight Elevators being cluttered by damaged and derelict ships.
On the plus side, I also experienced:
1) Random players helping each other. Many times someone with a tractor beam or ATLS helped unload the elevator and even load the ship without a word, to speed the process along.
2) ATLS's left at every site I visited, everywhere, for others to use.
3) A griefer at one freight elevator get absolutely wrecked by an ATLS operator who weaponized several cargo boxes.
4) Combat assistance at a retrieval location from a guy who just wanted to finish his mission too.
5) That RP group get dunked by another group of players who wanted the OM point clear. Made a fantastic show as I was floating in space next to the wrecked C2.
Is it worth it? I got the paints for my Aurora LX and Zeus, so the goal was achieved. Not much for grinding though, and the 'upper rewards' are too heavy on that for my tastes. So for as far as I've taken it, sure, it's been worth it. But the amount of time spent working through blockers FAR exceeded the amount of time spent progressing, and I'm feeling kinda done with that.

A family member starting to game with me was looking over TEST on my iPad and saw this thread.
The multi-post ‘fest’ grief and how it is repeated by others, including officers, didn’t create comfort with the crew here.
We’re now deciding to check out other places to game together.

They're giving valid criticisms in this thread about the dysfunctionality of this build of the game, criticisms like this go in cycles and with the development nothing is permanent for patch dysfunction (more or less lol, elevators and ladders were murder devices for years), it's your responsibility to explain this to your group that inspite of the bugs the game is still incredible to behold without loading screens constantly and other features people now take for granted. Blaming this thread for your team looking for different places to game together is not the fault of the posters in this thread. And personally I think that's not a bad thing until the patch playability improves, it's not like this patch is it, there will be continual improvements.
The onus is on each of us to explain the situation to those that matter to us at the very least.

I wasn’t sharing input about common Star Citizen game play woes.
My comment was on the over-the-top foul language deliberately used repeatedly many times in one post here, then quoted over and over.
So a better answer would have been ‘thanks for the feedback, it’s now been moderated’.
If the repeated words I referred to before were appropriate, why was it moderated after my first post?

@Sky Captain In my experience, Test is not a family friendly place. To be frank, if my wife played SC at all, it would not be with Test. She has heard others over discord when I played and was extremely disturbed at the people who were making...female unfriendly references...and were talking about actively using illegal (at the time) drugs. If I had children, I would not be exposing them to Test Squadron until...well, never.
There are some REALLY REALLY good people here in Test, but there are also some people who don't have much of a filter either. When we get into discussion like the above, people don't mince words and if they see CIG creating a mess, then they will call it like it is.
That said, this place is the only place besides spectrum that I talk about SC to people, and the people here are...mostly...better than the average person on Spectrum. Yes, we have a few people I personally have stopped engaging with, but for the vast majority of people in the forums, they are good people (discord is another matter)
