On the PC, you'll probably queue similar to how they do the Battlelog for BF(x)/H. I'm interested in if they'll have load-out options that are as varied as the actual weapons in the SW universe - that is, instead of a single blaster rifle for the Rebels, and the E-11 for the stormtroopers, having an array of weapons to choose from (I don't care if they make some of them up, just don't give me the same damn weapon for every class).

But reading in it looks like they're including bot games :D which is good. Just no conquest campaign :/

I don't know what's worse, how terrible the game is going to be or how massively successful its going to be regardless.
The problem is that even though as a battlefront game its going to be the biggest travisty since the xmas special, it will be a passable game on its own, just like Battlefield 4, and a lot of people will defend because of that. Then it has all the hype of Star Wars VIII and because its star wars every parent will see it as a nice fun pg game so won't hesitate to shell out when their 420xxxblazit#rektfagit kids demand it.
TL;DR: Dis ain't yer grandpappy's battlefront, but EA gon make bank anyways, prob'ly 'nuff to finally summon up the devil like they always wanted.

They go on about how having space battles would be pointless because all the action would be planet side.
Then do it like bf1 and bf2 and have your space battles as separate maps and modes? They were some of the best bits of the old games.

This pisses me off. Mainly because when Battlefront was confirmed they (EA's president) said you would be able to start in space and seamlessly fly onto the planet. Now from the leaked test footage it looks like the star destroyers and whatnot will be in the atmosphere, not even that high up. They officially nerfed the fuck out of my hype.

I'm not gonna lie. I saw the game, and I pre-ordered it based solely on the older ones. Then I've come in here and seen all the shit about it... I 'm gonna try and hold out, but if it doesn't look like they're fixing some of these things, I'm gonna be cancelling that pre-order :(

Now we have details: Hype cancelled. Might buy if it comes out and somehow is a really good game (even though its sounding nothing like the Battlefront i cherish) but not going to pre-order. No way.
"In-Engine" footage is true, but doesn't change that its probably using different textures, possibly even models, and is running a premade sequence.
It is almost assuredly being made to play on consoles, so this levels of graphics gonna be impossible. Can pray for PC though :/

I loved BF 2, but there is no way in hell I will pre order this game, I have a bad feeling that they are over hyping it now to sell pre orders before people get a chance to see how bad it might be.

You think thats bad, the shot where the Falcon is going into that huge engine is a Super Star Destroyer crashed turned up side down in the desert.
No single player, no space... Sounds like another game being rushed out to be released before the movie comes out for Christmas... cutting corners now to get it released in time and then require DLC's to pick up the rest of the unfinished game...

Well the way you describe it sounds like EA is making it.....oh wait.....
6 months after release support will get dropped and they'll move on to making Battlefront 4 with integrated space battles and a new SP campaign.
