I asked Travis Day on "Reverse the 'Verse" yesterday about actual prison ships, aside from the prison transport ships/variants that are already out there or mentioned. He said yes, there would indeed be prison ships planned for the future.

So I'm here to find out if anyone else is interested in working together to operate a prison. This can be for all criminals or maybe just for those who have attacked us. Of course we will never hold any TEST member in a cell in our prisons (unless they request it).

So we're going to need guards and engineers to keep this place going, which we can either hire from other divisions within the organization or have our own within the division.

So TESTies, what do you think?

The only reason I'm not posting this in professions is because I don't want to look like I'm starting up a division. Just trying to spark the idea for one.

What is your opinion on prisoner-based scientific experiments...?
Do your experiments involve subjecting those not in the org to mind altering canvases of black and yellow? Listening to music about the same? Filling their heads with images of TEST Raptors, Hamsters, and Koalas and Montoya?

That is indeed the plan. And if for whatever reason that doesn't work, maybe just harvest their organs to try and make some kind of hamster-raptor hybrid creature that produces alcohol as a waste product...

How about medical processing of prisoners? Or a prisoner workforce that you can "rent" out to local sectors to provide bodies to mine hazardous areas (think early American railroad... but prisoners)? And of course taking bribes to release high profile prisoners...

Such financial opportunities with running a prison ;)

Is the new season of the Orange is the New Shade of Black out yet.. .need some more prison ideas ;)

I've been meaning to watch that, is it any good?
I really enjoyed the first season.... second season I watched on deployment and it was harder to get into at first as they focused on characters I could give two thoughts about....

Oh yeah... Women in prison (check), lesbian love affair that involved drug running between Donna from the 70s show and Piper (she was in the movie adaptation of Atlas Shrugged part 1) who is married to the Pie Fu&&er from American Pie, Captain Janeway as a Russian kitchen boss (check), and Crazy Eyes (check for awesome funny factor).

But no prison space ships... yet!

Uhh I think that made sense. I'll add it to my list.

I haven't seen or heard any details yet, but in the next Reverse the 'Verse I'll definitely try to get more information about it out of them.

I like the concept. And since slavers are supposedly the 'most hated people in the 'verse', I'd kind of like to dabble in that.
100% on board with capturing those who harass our haulers/miners, and selling them for slaves.. or just harvesting their organs.

I'm fine with running a prison ship, but I'm not interested in doing things that completely violate my principles, such as slavery and black-market organ harvesting.

However, the use of a prison ship as a way to consolidate bounties and deliver them to QuarterDeck for the best profits would be an impressive way to make bank.

Bah, I like the idea of making horrifying examples out of those who dare molest honest proletariat-class TESTes. Call them POWs if it helps your "principals".

Your multiple bounty plan could be very efficient.. but it is definitely an "all your eggs in one basket" scenario. A group attacking to rescue just one of their buddies could cost you greatly.

I'm not willing to risk making our reputation dirt-terrible.

You can have the nice prison resort then, but I don't think we need principles in this business.
