I'm posting this while being very mentally - and emotionally - fatigued, what with the mess I've had to deal with this month, in addition to the exams this week. So, I apologize for the out-of-format post here.
I'm looking around at other organizations to join in about six months, if things don't pan out with my current plans. Here's what I'm looking for:
The reason I'm posting here is because I've had experience as a member of Dreddit in EVE Online, and I've found them to be a much more...agreeable bunch than the usual type of people I encounter in other games. I hope this holds true at TEST Squadron, as well.
While I like a little bit of humor here and there, I'm kind of the type of person that appreciates people who engage in good faith when engaged thusly. That is to say, I'm not the type that likes to deal with nonsense day in, day out, on a near constant basis just because some kids thought it was hilarious. Time and place for everything, ya know?
I'm 30 years old, and I've got a lot going on in the first place.
Tell me about TEST Squadron.
Edit: Oh , and as an aside; people will find me intense, aggressive, lacking for tact, and so forth. If that's a problem, just say so.
Edit2: And additionally, I'd choose Kirk for the tactical; Picard for the strategic.

- Highly tolerant people who are able to adapt to those with disabilities (Yes, I'm Deaf). That means it'd be pretty cool if there was an organization that would just not balk at the idea of having a communications officer dedicated to relaying information to Deaf gamers. Christ, I can't stress this enough.
- The ability to plan major fleet operations and strategics. Basically, what I want to do is be in a command role at some point in time. Preferably without people being dickwads about my disability or the "oh, you're just a number" mentality. (I actually have several mission plans and formats written out in my Star Citizen document folder.)
- A leadership structure that isn't opaque, and adheres to the principles of the organization they run. Basically, people who think before they leap; and are more willing to stand by their more "unconventional" members. (Three guesses as to what this hints at, and the first two don't count.)
