Stupid Referral Codes

So my friends rush to get into star citizen 45$ combo and "FORGOT" the referral code...

now they have no extra space monies. and I am now forever 3 short of the 10 friend code free ship (7 of 10)

how is everyone else doing on the referral codes? i have heard legend of a few players easily getting to the 42 number. which i find very very strange.

anyone else which that all previous registered could get a refereed token to give to the one that actually set them up?

I've just been helping a friend with his referral code, he has 5, 2 of those thanks to me and a friend of mine.

You'll get a point when the person backs the game with $40 or more i think. So $10 more and you get a point.
