ok so I have an idea. I want to have a test squadron Star Citizen tournament. I would like about 20 people at least. please vote so I can get the ball rolling if we have enough people.
How would it work? well its very easy, depending on what event you want to be part of. some will be more on your time, and others will be at a set time and date. this post is manly to try to get people into the idea, and to see if I am just wasting my time. I have thought of four events. if you have some ideas please post below, or if you just don't like an event at all.
Vanduul vaporizer: one pilot 18 waves of vanduul. how far can you make it? the top player that goes solo and gets the farthest in one try on spectrum private, with a judge watching via ejecting and watching it all go down. is the winner. if two or more players make it to the same wave the winner will be the one with the highest score.
Demolition Aurora: this is a true testie game: in a free-for-all game mode only Aurora's are allowed, and no guns or missiles, crash your way to victory!
Cargo Run: two teams of three players go in a two round battle for the cargo on capture the core. the rules are that one team (the offence) has two escort ships, and one cargo ship, the cargo ship is the only one that can pick up the core (ie the cargo). and the second (the defense) team must protect their core, return it, however they do not have a cargo ship, so are unable to pick up the enemies core. the winner of the two rounds (one on offence and one on defense) will move to the next round of a single elimination tournament.
Top Wing: you and two friends battle your way though a single elimination tournament in squadron battle to prove you are the best of the best.
What I need to make this a thing, I need at least two other people that want to be judges. and around 20 pilots.
Thoughts? do you think this is a good idea? please let me know. I want to make this happen, I think it would be a ton of fun for all. I want to be able to take this to the testie leaders and go hey I got a plan and I got people that want to be part of it. LETS MAKE TEST GREAT AGAIN.... ok who are we fooling, test has always been great!!
