I'm hoping to do high risk / high value cargo and/or transportations with a Freelancer Max. Put all power into engines and just hope I can outrun any pirate. OR... Send the real valuables in my Aurora, and let another Test-members run an armed convoy as decoy. ;)

So much good info for us newbies in this thread. My starter Aurora only had 3 or 6 months insurance so not going to use that for CCU. This little bike will either become a permanent racer or be upgraded to what I want to use as first main ship.

Great! So by using this you can make sure to have LTI on your starter ships once the game is launched... I assume the insurance will be damn needed in the beginning, before you've built cash and experience.

I've been practising to fire a misslie JUST before I crash my Aurora into stuff. All for maximum impact. If there's a fight going on during reasonable hours I'll be there!

Haha I can imagine. Not but I ment if you have 2k REC to spend on a Merlin, then you're set for racing... I cant imagine racing a Cutlass is much worse than the first few races I did in my Aurora... and my attempts to race the Merlin until I understood how to set the flight modes...

Great advice! Bit even if the 7 days start to tick, it's pretty easy to race for REC enough to keep a few canons permanent... unless ofcourse REC gear stops showing in PU.
