My favorite owl pic only exists in my head, but I'll try to share it.
Many moons ago, around the same time of the year, late at night, I went out onto the balcony for a fa.. reasons. There was a huge tree just a bit higher then the roof right in front of it. It's limbs reaching towards said balcony, only like 10feet away. (by now it's grown so much it's almost touching the railing). It was a clear, cold, moonlit night. I was just staring into nothing when...
A FREAKIN HUGE WHITE OWL appeared out of nowhere, with wings spread as wide as I'm high, banked into a knifes edge turn passing from top left to low right, exactly between the railing and the tree!
Damn that was a once in a couple of lifetimes type of sheeet, a real life anime-moment. It was amazing and a super rare sighting where I live.
It was late enough that there was no background noise from the city, no animals, no wind, nothing, just cold and total silence. I should describe the owl with the words "it Whooshed down" but it didn't. It made no sound, no wind. That's the thing that's stuck with me to this day, that it was absolutely 100% silent. Like a modern sub is the hole in the water, it was the dead silent but rather fast moving hole in the air. So a B2, just white lol.

Favorite beer... that's a hard one. I like all beer!*

*unless it's artifically very oversweetened stuff like some IPA's with peach juice flavor and such nonsense.

Holy shit TESTies! 10 freaking years! I think TEST had something like 3000 members when I joined. Yeesh. That's a lot of beer, Auroras flown into the sun, and very (un)successful TEST flights.

Thanks a mil for being the most welcoming, active, friendly, and most importantly, FUN group of degenerates that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and gaming with.

I should say a couple fun things about owls. I was out peeing in the woods the other day, as I oft do when in the woods; and I had a Great Horned Owl swoop past not more than 6’ from me. Astonishing. Owls have an extremely cool feature not shared by other birds. Their feathers have little barbs that make them stick together which gives them “silent flight” and yeah really even at less than two meters they are astonishingly silent.

. . .and then some drink and talk smack.

OMG 10 yeas of Owl none of us can imagine life without owl.

This is such a momentous occasion I have got the 3d printer and yellow filament out the cupboard and am putting it to work on a special Owl memento.

I now have a beautiful Yellow Test Owl insite Test PC so that whenever I play my game and get into my Perseus I can look at Test Owl and smile. Here's to another 10 years of Test Owl!!!

Both the same coin - 1 Oz Britannia my good man.

I would happily display some 1oz Canadian maple leafs but for the terrible tax implications on foreign coins over here.

(we are taxed to hell and back)
