I think you hit on its utility. If it has a tiny deck print, that may justify it.
How long will it be before we see a Caterpillar module on sale that can hold 1-2 of these, along with repair/refuel/rearm capability?
Looks like Drake's version of the Mirai Fury. Would make sense in the Kraken's former Dragonfly bay, but that's no longer in the Kraken design. I really hope there are some updates on Kraken progress at DefenseCon.
I like the idea of it, but they need to give us a reason to use these snubs other than small footprint.
If this is like the Mirai and has no Qdrive, then what benefits does it have over a light fighter?

I can imagine the Bullpup being useful flying off a Polaris. That hangar fits about 18-22 Fury. If it fit 12 Bullpups and they really have 6 weapons mounts each, they could be a better choice than the Fury to scout, and to knock out turrets and PDCs.
My complaint with snubs is they’re never as quiet as you’d like. No room for shielding the reactor is my guess. However, flying them off a stealth platform like the Polaris sounds plausible. I guess we need to see how it compares with the Fury.

Hmm so, instead of correct and update the Buccaneer and since a MKII start to annoy they decide to develop a brand new ship based on the same base idea...meh...

A response to swarms of tiny ships might be a fighter screen with plenty of PDTs or some sort of area effect weapon.
Makes me wonder how well those tiny buggers would deal with a capital-class size EMP device.
