Looks great, makes me thirsty, and I still have 4 Guinness in the cabinet. All good except my wife has the key. (we keep her mother away from anything with alcohol in it she didn't buy herself or when you want it, you'll find an empty bottle instead.)
*clears throat again*

I’m not saying the Irish government pays each one of us who leave the isle a kickback on shilling our merch overseas.
But if you could slug a few more of those back and book a Ryanair flight to Dublin with the ref ‘Rachel’, then that’d be real grand like. The kids gotta eat ya know

Montoya is you read this; look I can shill your merch too but I’ll be needn some fiscal persuasion if you know what I mean.
And while I’ve got you reading;
Smooth stout taste - Guinness is the only beer that is proven to give you a 6pack.
So pickup a 8pack today using ref ‘Rachel’ for a mega 0% discount but I can get new shoes I mean uh; the children can eat but only if you order a 12 pack today! Don’t hesitate the 24 packs are selling fast! It’s cheaper by the keg though!! How many should I put you down for? 3 a month? That’s true wisdom right there saving money per lorry load, neigh, earning money by the €€€boat load€€€! Just fill those card details in to claim your free prize of a receipt below!

On a Sunday?
Not gonna work at Costco ever! 😱

(Plus I'll never sign any paper Yex pushed my way either.)

Stores open on Sunday are quite common in North America for a couple/few decades now, depending on local rules.
Well, over here in Germany you'll find that the only shops open on a sunday are bakeries and gas stations.
It's okay. Most got a hangover from saturday anyhow and sleep in on a weekend.
We hardly feel any lack. 🥳

Awk I do email now too

You can buy Guiness in UK on a Sunday. Either in the shops 8am to 4pm or in a pub 12.01pm to 10pm.

After all Sunday is god's day of rest. I can't speak for god, but I am sure he would be happy to have a Guiness whilst he is resting - and expects everyone else to copy him?

more business are working on Sunday in Germany than bakeries and gas stations
Emergency medicine. Natural Gas companies electric companies, plumbers just to name a few. Anything you depend on 24x7 that you don’t realize is open. It’s okay though. The people who do that work are not in it for money or recognition. They do it because it needs doing

You do realize that I was taking about shops?
You know, like places where you buy necessities?
Like Guiness. Or bread. Or more Guiness?
I would not dream of dissing the unsung heroes of public service or the medical field.
Even I work on sundays when emergencies show up.
Did so the last 2 weekends actually.
And every once in a while I'm on standby duty.
So I am no stranger to the concept of working overtime if needed.
But on a sunday our shopping centers are closed.
Sad but true.

Come to think of it, your not telling me that natural gas companies and plumbers sell Guinness in the states?

There's just a few state licensing requirements that need to be met. Literally "Mudhawk's Bits, Bytes and Beer Emporium" is just a few hurdles of paperwork and licensing away. You'd need to pay foor the state services to review approve and file the paperwork. Probably true in Germany too. Pretty standard stuff.

True dat,
We even got a saying in Germany: "Wer nichts wird wird Wirt!"
Basically it means that if you fail at everything else in live you can still server Beer.
On the other hand I am sure most people will raise an eyebrow at a plumber serving a brownish fluid in a glass...

For the record, my wife is a bio-chemist by training. For work, she is the manager of a warehouse and a bar manager/bartender at sporting events (same company). She doesn't do the biochemistry anymore because it doesn't pay enough.

I do not know about the state of things over at your place but despite complaining otherwise (Germans do complain a lot, especially when drunk) not even the worst inkeep suffers from malnorishment. If you catch my drift.

Bio-Chemistry? Hmmm... ever thought about going into the micro-brewery / craftbeer business? how does Levsky Lager sound..? Nix Pale ale? Stanton Stout?
