How's it a letdown?

It's cheap to buy so many people will buy it, use it, and thereby test the mechanic for CIG. It's a one trick pony so those many people can't overly abuse the mechanic. It's a brilliant plan really. Once they've balanced this they'll release the mechanic in a platform that is more usable...

I certainly like the idea of interdiction, but the platform does not resonate at all with me at this point. I personally upgraded to the Vanguard Harbinger, as I do like firepower. I also managed to find a Sentinel BUK to cover off the EWAR aspect of the Vanguard as well. Defender is looking...

Both are amazing choices, and both have been on my favourites list for quite some time. I chose the Carrack because of the multi-use aspect. However, if the Cat ever gets her modules, she may end up being the most versatile ship in the game.
