Yeah the official silhouette excites me way more than any of the in-progress concepts they showed. They all looked too "stereotypical generic alien ship" to me. I'm a fan of the more angular outline though. Looking forward to seeing it for real; I hope they show off the animations like they did...

I'm fairly confident they've addressed it more directly than just not denying it, but I don't have a source on hand so I won't press it further. Regardless, the presence of the Redeemer does not make it pointless for them to add another ship from TNGS. There is plenty of room to diversify roles.

Losing does not mean not making it into the game. They've already said that they're probably planning on adding other TNGS ships to the game.

I've got the Redeemer with LTI, and I can't wait until I can actually use it.
