I've got the Merchantman, and plan on pulling in big money while looking dapper as fuck. I was really tempted by the Starfarer, but I've regretted not buying the MM ever since the first sale ended.

The amount invested into this one game, with only the barest scraps of encouragement, has managed to eclipse several of the cars I have owned. Mind you, over 75% of the cars I've owned have been ancient rustheaps; still, it's a frightening figure.

As someone else pointed out, it depends on the availability of the Retaliator in the PU as well. I might be able to afford it, but it might be that I have to go hunting it down through multiple systems. ...Ah, fuck it.
