This happens to me almost every time there's a major patch or update that requires me to create my character again. My trick is that after I create my character & set my home location, I then back out to the main menu & it's usually cleared up.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe that you can use ships rented in the PU in AC, but I know that if you own the ship & it's in your account hangar, then you usually can use the ship in AC as long as it's also released into the Verse.

I received my F8C's through backing & both of them are able to be used in AC. Also, I've done the switch to 10x S2 weapons in AC on my F8C Exec. So that is confirmed.
