Also the ship is bugged when it comes to ramming/being rammed, often a ram will insta-kill or severerly damage you, whereas is does not in other ships.
I ususally transfer all power to shields, tank it out, it works a treat.
All you need to do is slap an M7a on the nose and you've got a killer. The pips are slightly off at medium range and above, but at short range, or in a straight line, or against a big ship - it does catastrophic damage.
Don't worry about power efficiency - the 1070 saves you 2 watts at idle over the 970 - that's gonna save you approximately bugger all maybe a few cents a week in electricity. Not even worth thinking about.
I would say go for the 1060 or the 1070. I've got a few AMD cards here as I am an AMD...
Yes Yes Yes. We are winning the propaganda war!!
Just remember to be wary of fire hazards:
Spread the word, they must ENLIST NOW!!!
Get your megaphone out and yell TEST SQUADRON BEST SQUARDON!!!
Deafen them with propaganda until they buy test ear muffs!!
It's like having a rant about how poor FPS is right now - we know it is being worked on and improved. Turret stabilisation will be improved too it's just not a high priority and once it is fixed, it will totally destroy the current ship to ship balance so I can see why they are leaving it for now.
I've never had the ammo glitch and I use ballistics all the time - BUT I always kit my ships out in my hangar, never in the PU so that's probwbly why as I've heard the bug is to do with the PU.
So. In the road to citizencon video I noticed this pic. As far as I can see from other bridge pictures, it is Not a Polaris, Not an Idris, Not a Bengal.
Could it be a Carrack with the armoured windows partially closed?
