I want a mining or salvage ship but don't want to spend anymore on ships. Hopefully with 3.0 giving us meaningful content we can get a look at how resource professions will work.

I guess I'm lucky, I only bought my Cutlass this year and found out the rework a few weeks after. So technically you have waited muuuuuch longer than me. I am waiting on the 300 series rework and have been since 2015 but who needs that anymore... I got a Cutlass!!!

I'm thinking there will be lots of demand for raw materials and thousands of ships willing to transport them but not quite as many mining and processing facilities currently, I'm sure if I can make the purest metals and the cleanest water then I'll be able to capitalise on it with higher profit...

MAX as you're not going to jump in game and instantly have a full HULL B worth of cargo, you will likely have to bid on haulage contracts and the lowest bid will win I imagine. I don't know if a HULL B worth of ore, ingots, scrap, water or any number of resources will be a fast thing to acquire...
